Category and In house Category will be done by the College as
per the schedule declared by the Deputy Director of
MAHARASHTRA STATE BOARD. An Online process for the
admissions under the Gujara Linguisc Minority and In
house Category is conducted by the college and the form can
be filled and submied as per schedule displayed on our
website www.nmcollege.in. For Students Seeking Admission
under the Open, Sports, Cultural Categories and Other
Reservaons an Online Admission Process is conducted by the
Deputy Director of Educaon Office and the students are
admied as per the list sent by the Deputy Director
MAHARASHTRA STATE BOARD.
HSC VocaonalAdmission to XI standard for the HSC Vocaonal (MCVC) will
be done online through MMRDA. Please refer NM college

Bachelor of CommerceThe enre admission procedure is according to the guidelines
issued to the colleges by the University of Mumbai. According
to the Hon'ble High Court verdict, preference is given to in-
house students (on the basis of merit) up to the sanconed
capacity of the F.Y.B.Com Class. Aer adming all in-house
students, if there is any vacancy, it is filled according to the
University guidelines. Amended Ordinance 2151 is read as
under:
First Year B.Com 0.2151: A candidate for being eligible for
admission to the three year course leading to the Bachelor of
Commerce should have passed the his/her secondary
examinant form different divisional boards of the
Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary
Educaon.
OR
Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Cerficate
(Std. XII) leading with vocaonal subjects / State of Secondary
and Higher Secondary Educaon, OR Must have passed an
Examinaon of another University or Board recognized as
equivalent to Higher Secondary School Cerficate (Std.XII)

Bachelor of Management StudiesO.3941: A candidate for being eligible for admission to the

Department of Life Long Learning and Extension (DLLE)
The Department of Life Long Learning and Extension is a statutory department of the thUniversity of Mumbai, set up on 12 October 1978. It has been formed to promote and to
have meaningful and sustained rapport between the university and the community. The
moo of DLLE is To reach the unreached. NM College of Commerce and Economics has
become a part of DLLE in this academic year 2016-17. A total of 60 students have
registered. This year the college has undertaken two projects. Survey of Women Status:
This project has been designed to study the status of women and to understand their
challenges and problems in today's mes, while Career Project aims at educang
students of the various careers available to them and how to make right career choices.
Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics
provides an excellent infrastructure for stadium, best coach
for training for Sports. It encourages students to parcipate in
various sports such as Chess, Badminton, Cricket at
Intercollegiate level, state level, Naonal level and
Internaonal Level.
Brief: The course consists of five subjects, namely Macro
Economics, Financial Markets, Derivaves,
Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis.
Timing: The lectures are conducted from 6.00 pm to 9.00
pm five days a week.
Fees: Rs. 17,000 plus Service Tax
Duraon: 100 hour course which spans approximately over
2 to 3 months
Write-up: On compleon of the course an individual should
be able to make well informed investment
decisions for himself in shares of a company as
well as in the newer avenue of derivaves. An
individual may also become a professional advisor
aer acquiring more praccal experience; he may
also opt for Industry Employment and may
become research analyst, etc.
Students are eligible to get grace of 10 marks under ordinance 0.229 of the university of Mumbai aer successful compleon
of 120 hours in NSS and DLLE.
