Continuing the Tradition of 'Shree Satyanarayan Mahapooja' & 'Celebration

of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Janmotsav' were organised on 11 April,2019 at Uran Plant by

'ONGC (WOU) Karmachari Sanghatana,Uran' & 'Sthaniya Lokadhikar Samiti,ONGC,Uran'.

The function was honoured by the presence of Shri Narendra Asija Sir (ED-

PMU), Shri R.K.Singh Sir (ED-Engineering Services), Shri Banshidhar Sir (CGM- Head

Maintenance), Shri V.S.Nambuthri Sir (CGM- Production), Shri George Kerkatta Sir (GM- HR),

Shri D.K.Baral Sir (President - ASTO), Mrs. Madhuri Kalita Madam (In charge- Medical

Services,Uran),Shri SAURABH KARDE (Chief Guest & Renowned Speaker of biography of

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj) ,Shri Pradeep Mayekar (General Secretary- Karmachari

Sanghatana), Shri Prakash Dalvi (President - Karmachari Sanghatana), Shri Parag Kadam

(Vice President - Karmachari Sanghatana), Shri Sandeep Gawade (Executive President

Sthaniya Lokadhikar Samiti) & Shri Pundlik Keluskar (Ex.Vice President - Karmachari

Sanghatana,Uran) & All the employees.

Shree Satyanarayan Mahapooja was performed by employees & the

celebration of 'Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Janmotsav' started by offering garland to

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue. On the same day (11 April) the occasion of the birth

anniversary of Mahatma Jotiba Fule, photo frame of his picture was garlanded by Chief

Guest Shri SAURABH KARDE. The function was addressed by Shri Dilip Ardalkar (Executive

Member- Karmachari Sanghatana,Uran) to all the employees. He described the history &

purpose of Celebration of 'Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Janmotsav'.Ideological books based

on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj biography named 'Shivaji Maharaj & MBA' were distributed

to the Eminent. An inspirational Speaker Shri SAURABH KARDE delivered a lecture on

SURGICAL STRIKE done by Shivaji Maharaj before 350 Years; which was motivational to all

the audience present. Lunch followed by MAHAPRASAD served for all devotees. Devotional

Songs (BHAJAN) were presented by NADBRAMHA MAHILA BHAJAN MANDAL,Uran. The beat

of the Traditional music by Shivsangram Dhol Tasha Pathak,Uran continued with grand

procession of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue.
