This year, INTERMACH and SUBCON Thailand were honoured to have several important people from the manufacturing

industry attend our opening ceremony. Guests of honor included Mr. Chakramon Phasukavanich, Minister of Industry, and

Ms. Hirunya Suchinai, Acting Secretary General, Thailand Board of Investment – all of whom gave opening ceremony speeches.

Mr. Chakramon mentioned a vision of Thailand becoming the major manufacturing base of ASEAN. ASEAN is a special

manufacturing location and currently draws the attention of investors from around the globe. One of the country’s big advantages

is its location, which is convenient to transportation and logistics and includes an excellent automotive manufacturing base. “At this

point, we would like to move Thailand forward to become a key base for the world’s manufacturing industry”, the Minister said.

Ms. Hirunya added, “What we want is to be a media contact between buyers and sellers, and to provide them the opportunity to

meet and make deals. Also we have further promoted the chance for success by extending the show an extra day making it a

four day event. This will generate high business cooperation and make it even more successful.”

Mr. Manu Leopairote, the Chairman of UBM Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said, “Without technological development, Thailand cannot

achieve long term leadership. Technology means advantages for manufacturing in all aspects, including technique, developmental

trends and knowledge to support entrepreneurs in raising their capability. It is expected that INTERMACH and SUBCON Thailand

2015 will provide the best answers for all to be part of Thai industrial growth.” he said.

CELEBRATE THE SUCCESSOF BEING AT THE CENTER OF AEC

The Village offers significant opportunity for leading manufacturers and
