Dear Parents,
Dear Parents,
We are finally at the end of Term 3. The interior painting of the Church is completed and Mass
returned this week to the church. Our whole school Mass was a wonderful celebration to fin-
ish up the term.
On Wednesday the ‘SHOWCASE’ was well attended and the Mary MacKillop Hall was a dis-
play of colour and artistic talent. All staff and students are to be congratulated for their hard
work in producing such an extravaganza of learning. It is amazing to realise that this is just a
snippet of the learning that has been achieved over the term. We should appreciate the
teachers planning and implementation of the curriculum and the positive impact that this has
on students learning, development and growth.
Term 4 sees the return of Mrs. Ware and she will be well rested and ready the tackle the final
term of the school year after taking Long Service Leave.
We look forward to the beginning of the building project and excited at the possibilities it
presents at St. Mary’s. During Term 4 the students will be moved from their existing class-
rooms to the Administration building and the Mary MacKillop Hall. We are endeavoring to
make the transition out of the student building as smooth as possible for students and teach-
ers. So much has gone into the ongoing planning and pre-planning of this move by all staff.
The swimming program beings the first Tuesday of Term 4 and parents are reminded that
summer uniform is to be worn during the final term of the year, this includes hats.
Have wonderful and safe holiday.
