With your children, choose a person who needs a little extra
love—a friend, relative, or neighbor—and plan your healthy and
happy heart attack. Help the kids cut out the hearts on page
32, write your own love notes on the hearts, and glue them
onto wooden skewers. You can also use the printables on
pages 16-19 from the sweetheart activity if they apply. Then,
in the dark of night, stick them in the person’s front yard. If
they don’t have a front yard, use masking tape to attach them
to the front door or garage. The kids will be a secret Valentine
for someone else and you’ll make the heart attackee have a
special Valentine’s Day since they will know they are loved.
