Did you k now that the only place where your arm and shoulder connec t to your torso bone -to -bone is the spot where your col larbone meets your sternum on the f ront of your chest?  The whole assembly is layered muscle and s inew and bone suppor ted through a balance of tension l ike a suspension br idge —and that ’s just in a f ront v iew with the arm hanging l imp.  You may have a l ready learned the names of each protrus ion of the scapula , but that doesn’t necessar i ly make i t eas ier to draw.  Mult i - layered v isual a ids in several posit ions and angles show the way the bones, jo ints, and muscles work in concer t as the body moves.
