SHORT NORTH GALLERIES CELEBRATE
MINI MURALS
The Short North Mini-Mural project is part of a year-long celebration of Columbus' 200th birthday. Participating galleries have each selected an original work of art created by an artist with ties to Columbus. A hi-resolution photograph was taken of each work of art. The photographs were enlarged to sizes ranging from 100-200 square feet. The photographs were then printed on special vinyl and installed on the sides of buildings throughout the district. The murals are expected to remain on display until July 2013. The mini-mural project was sponsored in part by The Short North Alliance • The Jack and Zoe Johnstone Foundation • The Kridler Family Fund
