Their breakout hit, “Party Like a Rock Star” released in 2007, but now the Shop Boyz are back with new music, videos, and an upcoming tour. Fans of their first album, Rockstar Mentality, will be excited to hear a mixture of similar guitar riffs as well as new and fresh beats. Sheed calls reggae inspired, “Party All Night,” an anthem for the people who work Monday-Friday but let loose on the weekend. Shop Boyz continue to experiment and push the boundaries of music on their track “Country Girl.” Meany shares, “Country Girl is about a country girl who meets a city boy for the first time and that’s exactly what the song sounds like, turn’t up country music.” “Everything we do has a rockstar mentality,” shares Fat. “Rockstars are people who make their own rules, create new lanes. That’s what makes rock stars stand out and that’s what we’re doing musically.” Career Highlights: Earlier in their career, Shop Boyz landed the spot for #1 selling ringtone around the world bringing in over $3 million and their single peaking at #2 on Billboard’s Top 200 Charts, “Party Like a Rock Star” turned Shop Boyz into superstars practically overnight. It reached high success during summer 2007, peaking in the top five on the Billboard Hip-Hop Songs, Hot Rap Tracks, and Hot 100 charts. Their video was in heavy rotation on MTV and BET and Shop Boyz were bestowed the following nominations: Grammy Award (Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group), American Music Award (Monster Single of the Year), People’s Choice Awards USA (Favorite Hip-Hop Song), Teen Choice Awards (Choice Summer Song) and BET Hip-Hop Award (Track of the Year). Shop Boyz have been featured in Billboard, Rolling Stone, and New York Magazine. “If hip-hop is dying, rock ’n’ roll is giving it CPR. Thanks to the Shop Boyz, inner-city clubs across the country are turning into mosh pits every time the Atlanta trio’s “Party Like a Rockstar” blares through the speakers.” - XXL Magazine www.shopboyzmusic.com Follow ShopBoyzMusic @ TranScend Entertainment [email protected] 404-548-8051 [email protected] 404-500-9451 World Bookings James Wallace [email protected] 323-286-6711
