ORIGINS of Our Name: In 2006, Founder Gwen Hurt the mother of 3 amazing kids and new to the world of wine

was given a “wine making” kit for Christmas. She made and bottled 120 bottles of Chianti. Contemplating what to name

her creation.. daughter Brittny said… name it something you love… “I loved and was passionate about shoes”…and

now this new love .. The name “Shoe Crazy Wine” was born. “While her creation wasn’t the most drinkable wine. It was

a delightful cooking wine and made one heck of a Bolognese Sauce for Pasta!!” Gwen was hooked and vowed to one

day discover all of wines intricacies.

FROM TECHNOLOGY to VINTNER: In 2013, Shoe Crazy Wine, LLC was founded by Gwen after a series of

challenging events in her life. A car accident that took nearly a year of recovery, the other was parting with the company

in which she had spent 17 years working diligently. Although “IT” was not her passion, she really loved her job. During

her rehabilitation, Gwen made the decision to fight back the depression and pain and start a company that she could be

proud of and most importantly passionate about. Thus the SCW story is truly the tried and true cliché “Everything

Happens for a Reason”… Sometimes two things happen for a reason! Gwen landed a partner that allowed her an avenue

to enter the wine business. SCW launched very quietly in 2013 in Chesterfield Virginia as a private label vintner. In June

2014, SCW Asia Pacific in Singapore and wholesale distributor, importer and exporter of California and French Varietals

into Asia and the US.

Mendocino Red Blend

Wine: The blending of four varietals (Cabernet, Red Zinfandel, Merlot and Syrah) fill every corner of the mouth. Well-structured and not overly tannic, offers all the desirable aromas and flavours from the four grapes grown along the North Coast of California.

Ageing: Our proprietary red blend is beautifully balanced. It comprises cabernet, syrah, red zinfandel and merlot.

Drink: over 1 to 2 years easy-drinking wine to be paired with beef cuts, rich stews, and lamb dishes or enjoyed alone!

Alc. 13.5% by Vol – Year 2012

Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine: This is a dark crimson colour, with ripe berry and plum aromas, accented by toasty oak and vanilla. It displays rich dark fruit flavours on the palate, balanced by silky tannins and a lingering finish.

Ageing: Grapes for the wine were handled gently to minimize bitterness and fermented warm to maximize colour and flavour.

Drink: over 1 to 2 years with roasted and grilled meats such as leg of lamb, prime rib, or porterhouse steak.

Alc. 13.5% by Vol – Year 2012

Chardonnay

Wine: Chardonnay displays textbook varietal characteristics, with a golden straw colour, golden apple and pear flavours, medium body, and a crisp yet smooth finish.

Ageing: While the wine was fermented in stainless steel, a portion was barrel fermented for 2 weeks contributing a creamy toastiness to the finished wine.

Drink: over 1 to 2 years with its smooth texture and crisp acidity, the wine is an excellent choice for before dinner, and pairs magnificently with a wide array of appetizers. It moves into a meal with ease, matching well with grilled or broiled fish and seafood as well as poultry dishesAlc. 12.5% by Vol – Year 2012

Sauvignon Blanc

Wine: This wine displays classic characteristics, with aromas of fresh honeydew and citrus fruits that carry through to the palate. With its fruity, sometimes even herby flavours highlight its complex taste.

Ageing: The wine was fermented in stainless steel without the use of any oak, to preserve the aromatic and floral aromas and capture the essence of the fruit.

Drink: over 1 to 2 years pairs especially well with fish, like salmon and halibut, and also with light pasta dishes. It also would match very well with fresh fruits and chesses.

Bordeaux – 2011 Superieur

Cabernet

Wine: A French Grand Vin AOC that is rich and round with precisepure aromas.

Sommelier Notes: This wine is intense and fresh, with numerousfragrances of red fruit, exotic spices and liquorice. Supple in themouth and instantly pleasurable. Pairs well poultry, grilled beefand hard cheeses.

Ageing: 16 to 20 months in stainless steel and concrete tanks.Limited racking to maintain a clean, bright fruit expression.

Drink: Can be stored 3 to 6 years period. Alc. 13.5% by Vol

Bordeaux – 2013 Rose’

Wine: This French Grand Vin AOC is far from traditional Bordeaux

Rose’, this is fine combination of cabernet franc and cabernet

sauvignon.

Sommelier Notes: Light tannin style with a coral pink hue, obtained

from only lightly pressing the grapes. Harvest occurs earlier in the

season for better grapes balance. Highly aromatic with intense pure

notes of fresh stone fruits and minerals. For aperitif, grilled meats and

fish, or just when you feel like it.

Ageing: In stainless steel tanks maximum prevention from oxidation

for 4 months.

Drink: Can be stored 1 to 2 years. Alc. 12.5% by Vol

Bordeaux - 2013 Sauvignon Blanc

Wine: This French Grand Vin AOC is fresh and Bright, with anenticing aromatic intensity.

Sommelier Notes: It is seductive, with delightful fruity notes hintsof white flowers and peaches. The plate is pure, fresh, andprocesses a long mineral intensity. For aperitif, to accompanysummer salads or more classical seafood, shellfish and goat cheese.

Ageing: In stainless steel tanks maximum prevention from oxidationfor 5 months with limited sulfites added.

Drink: Can be stored 2 to 3 years. Alc. 12.5% by Vol
