Streimer. I am a mother, a textile artist and a creator of

beautiful things.

Although delicate and hand-made Shnookies' garments

can withstand tickles and big hugs.

Shnookies, the nickname given to my kids, was started as a hobby and a way to create beautiful garments for friends and family.

I noticed that it was very difficult to get quality baby knitwear made from natural fibers. Shnookies aims to provide quality garments for

affordable prices. My pieces are meant to last and to be handed down, from one baby to the next.

I am looking to grow my business and think that as an emerging designer and textile artist, my shop would be a great fit for Finders Keepers. Shnookies has attended two Mathilda’s Markets but I am

hoping to expand my business this year and reach more customers. Being accepted for the Finders Keepers Market in

Sydney would be a huge step towards reaching new customers and gaining further exposure.

I intend to set up my display as detailed in the diagram on page 3.

I upcycled the doll’s house photographed above and now use it as shelves and display for my products.

I also have a miniature handmade clothes rack and ladder which shows off Shnookies items at different heights - creating a greater visual impact than a single level display.
