This is an ongoing testing project for Discovery.  In South Africa, Discovery operates in the health insurance market through Discovery Health. Their core purpose is expressed in each of the health and financial products that caters for nearly six million clients across four continents.

Looking from a healthcare industry perspective discovery offers ‘Open Health Schemes’ as well as ‘Closed Health Schemes’. The Discovery Health Medical Schemes are new generation medical schemes. This type of medical scheme embraces the philosophy of consumer-driven healthcare.
