The king cobra is the world's longest venomous snake. This species, which preys chiefly on other snakes, is found predominantly in forests from India through Southeast Asia.T hey can be distinguished from other cobras by size and hood marks. Its diet consists primarily of other snakes but when food is scarce, they may also feed on other small vertebrates, such as lizards, birds, and rodents.
