hosted some fresh Slovak design bypresenting models by Boris Haneka,a young fashion designer, in our shopwindow.I am delighted to be able to describeto you in pictures and words thewonderful atmosphere of these lovelymeetings with many of you, and sharesome memories. brand quite naturally became thegeneral partners of the traditionalyacht race TREND Regata 2012organised by the renowed econo-mical weekly magazine TREND. Thechallenger of this years champion-ship was Radio Expres and therealisation partner was the companyFirst Sailing.

Nearly 150 yachtsmen andbusinessmen who found pleasure, a

chance to relax and an opportuni-tyto ndnew contacts in this beautifulwater sport, took part in the com-

petition at the beginning of June inthe middle of the Adriatic. Thecommon meeting place of the

participants and the target point ofthe regatta was the marina of Castle

next to Split. Twenty-one yachts tookfour take-off runs between Split andthe Croatian islands of Vis and Hvar.The wind fading away mixed theorder in the take-off runs in a waythat even the proven tactics of themost experienced skippers failed torectify, however this did not spoil thegood mood of the crews.

The eet competed in two categories- sailing either on Beneteau First 35or on Beneteau First 45. At the end,Jean team have won the Cup in thecategory of small boats and Baumitcrew took the Cup for the categoryof Benetau First 45. Winners tookhome not only the great victory andcups, but also a barometer provided

by Ulysse Nardin.AudiCentrum Bratislava crew wasawarded the Fair Play prize by the

organiser of the championship andthe crew of NCC Yacht Team wasawarded the Funny Crew prize forthe continuous good mood on the seaand also in the marinas.During the day the temperatureclimbed up to 30 degrees Celsius soin the evening the crew enjoyed the

pleasant atmosphere of seaside townsand restaurants with typical Croatiancuisine.

The extraordinarily enjoyableevent provided a great space formutual communication amongst the

participants and a lot of friendshipswere formed. SHERON is satisedthat they contributed to the greatatmosphere on the boats and outsideof them with their support.

pozvali na green tento rok hnedvakrt. Koncom mja sa uskuto-

nil uzavret turnaj v Golf ClubeSkalica. V ndhern slnende si mohli astnci vychutna

profesionlne upraven 18-jamkovihrisko vo vinohradnckejasti tohto krovskho mesta.V prvom mestskom golfovom arelina Slovensku sa sailo v trochhendikepovch kategrich, abymali ancu hri na rznej rovnigolfovho umenia. Okrem hlavnho

turnaja sa bojovalo o atraktvneceny aj v disciplnach najdlh odpal(longest drive) a najpresnej der(nearest to pin), v ktorej vazten, kto odpli loptiku najbliiek urenej jamke. Cenu za najdlhodpal si napokon prekvapivo odnie-sla najmladia astnka turnaja.V polovici septembra sme sa stretlina golfovom turnaji v rezorte BlackStork Vek Lomnica. Pod ndher-nou panormou Vysokch Tatier sa

hralo systmom canon start a navazov v troch kategrich akalilkav ceny ako naprklad poukkyna nkup luxusnch perkov ihodiniek v klenotnctvach SHERON,golfov vstroj BMW i pobytyv tatranskch hoteloch. Hrov zozaiatku potrpili daov prehnky,

no poasie sa napokon umdrilo.Pre nehrov bol na oboch turnajoch

We are true golf fans in SHERON.Together with our business partnersBMW and J&T Bank, we invited

our friends and clients on the greenstwice this year. At the end of May aclosed tournament took place in GolfClub Skalica. On a beautiful sunnyday, they had a chance to enjoy the

professionally titivated 18-holecourse in the viticulture part of thisroyal town. The tournament wasorganised in three handicap catego-ries in the rst city golf area inSlovakia, in order to give participants

a chance to play at various levels inthe art of golf.Besides the main tournament, the

players competed for attractiveprizes in other disciplines such asthe longest drive and nearest tothe pin. The prize for the longestdrive was surprisingly taken home

by the youngest participant in thetournament.In the middle of September wemet again on golf course in BlackStork resort in Vek Lomnica. Atthe eautiful site of High Tatras they

played cannon start tournamentand the prizes were very attractive, as the winners won vouchers for

the purchase of luxury jewellry orwatches in SHERON jewellery storeor a golf equipment from BMW orweekend stays in the hotels in Tatras.At the beginning the weather wasntvery welcoming, but after some timethe rain nally stopped.An attractive programme was also

The sixth international Slovakiaopen polo championship was heldin the picturesque castle park of theAustrian Schloss Ebreichsdorf castleand the team of SHERON jewellerywas also present.Eight teams with international

participation presented themselveson four top quality polo grounds.

Two representatives of the Polishpolo family of Swiatalski andtwo Argentinean professionalsrepresented the green-golden coloursof SHERON. They nished as theabsolute winners of the three-daytournament, competing in one ofeight teams, and in the thrilling nalsthey defeated the previous cham-

Days of Architecture and DesignLuxury jewels as well as originallydesigned clothes are a unique creationof talented designers and theyessentially belong with each other.These elements were connected in theshop-window of SHERON jewelleryon Pansk Street in Bratislava that

became the host of the Slovak design

event for a few days. The uniqueporcelain dolls were presented in ourshop by one of the most famous youngfashion designers Boris Haneka.The exhibition with the name PartnerGallery was held during the Daysof Architecture and Design Festival2012 (Dni architektry a dizajnu2012). The event was held with thesupport of the Mayor of Bratislava,Mr. Milan Ftnik and the Mayor ofthe Old Town, Ms. Tatiana Rosov.

exhibition. ROLEX DEEPSEA CHALLENGEJames Cameron, the well-knownlmmaker and the explorer-in-residence of the special mission ofthe National Geographic Explorer,on March 26, 2012 made a solo

journey to the Mariana Trench, thedeepest known point on Earth (10091 metres). It was the second diveof this kind in the history of mankind.Cameron made it in a small single-seat submersible named the DeepseaChallenger.
