    ACTIVITY INFORMATION

    11-32537 (LARCENY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE)

    On 7/11/2011 deputies assigned to the Village of Manchester investigated the theft of personal property from a

    parked car. Deputies were told by the victim that a Kindle reading tablet had been stolen from a car on 7/8/2011,

    sometime during the afternoon. The victims car had been parked in the area of Vernon St and Liberty St. No

    suspect information was available. The incident remains under investigation.

    11-32539 (LARCENY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE)

    Deputies from Ypsilanti Twp were called to the 700 block of Woodcreek Ct on 7/11/2011 for the report of theft

    from a parked motor vehicle. The victim informed deputies that someone pried open the passenger door to their car,

    and stole the car stereo. Investigators believe the theft occurred sometime during the night. No suspect information

    was available. The incident remains under investigation.

    11-32554 (BURGLARY)

    Deputies assigned to Salem Twp were called to the 8000 block of Eaton Dr for a burglary to a shed. Police werecontacted on 7/11/2011; investigators are still attempting to determine when the incident occurred. At this time, it is

    unknown if any property was stolen. No further details were available at the time of this posting.

    11-32614 (LARCENY OF CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT/MATERIEL)

    On 7/11/2011 deputies assigned to Scio Twp were called to the area of Jackson Rd and Zeeb Rd for the report of

    stolen construction materiel. The complainant informed deputies that someone stole a large quantity of steel plates

    from a construction site. The complainant believes the theft occurred over the weekend. No further details were

    available at the time of this report. No arrests have been made. This continues to be an active investigation.

    ARREST INFORMATION

    11-32507 (WARRANT ARREST)

    Sheriffs Deputies from the Countywide Patrol arrested a wanted subject on 7/11/2011, at approximately 1:00AM.

    Deputies were in the 2000 block of Hayes Rd, Sylvan Twp, conducting a warrant sweep when the wanted person

    was located. The subject was taken into custody without incident.

    11-32510 (DRUNK DRIVING ARREST)

    On 7/11/2011, at about 1:45AM, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Twp arrested a suspected drunk driver who was

    involved in a single-vehicle crash near Whittaker Rd and Merritt Rd. The driver was located in a subdivision near to

    the crash site. Deputies determined the subject had been operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, at

    the time of the crash. The driver was arrested and a copy of the police report will be forwarded to the Prosecutor for

    review.

    11-32516 (WARRANT ARREST)

    Deputies conducting traffic enforcement arrested a wanted subject in the area of Wiard Rd and Tyler Rd, Ypsilanti

    Twp, on 7/11/2011. Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop, at about 3:45AM. The driver wasidentified and arrest warrants confirmed. The subject was taken into custody without incident.
