1. Introduction

‘Logistics’, a nine alphabets word, seems to

become a recent

hot issue. What

is the mystery

behind these nine

alphabets?

Previously, ‘logistics’ is a collective term used to

describe those activities related to series of freight

Shenzhin Shipping

1985. The

initially as a

transport company, which operated a fleet of cross-

border trucks running between Hong Kong and

Brief Introduction

Shenzhen Weisheng Offshore Oil Technology Company Ltd. (SWOT Company) is a share-owner company by CNOOC Nanhai East with 70% shares, Economy & Technique Development Company of CNOOC Nanhai East 15% and Shekou Base Company of CNOOC Nanhai East 15%, which has the independent artificial person qualification and owns register capital of RMB 10,000,000.

SWOT Company also obtains qualification for running foreign trade business in Shenzhen of P.R.C, gets certificate for applying to customs by itself or as agent and certificate for applying to CIQ. First of all, applying approval and Auditing Form from CNOOC in Beijing, simultaneously applying Automatic Import Permit for important industry products from Shenzhen Economy & Trade Bureau, then following all the transport process of materials, putting on records in Shenzhen Custom, and applying for DEC to conveniently apply to custom and CIQ, finally, delivering the materials and equipments to the Operators

Supplying the services of consultation to apply business license and tax registration for foreign contractors; Applying Operation Permit, Safety Permit, and Navigation Warning Notice for offshore engineering projects; Applying Visa, Resident Permit and Work Permit for those Expatriates.

Warehouse and logistics services

Successfully provided import duty exemption and customs/CIQ clearance consultant service for Guangdong Dapeng LNG Company Ltd. Finished importing 0.12 billion US$ of equipments and materials (both for terminal and trunk line project) in the past year 2005. 95% is duty exempted.

Milestones

Shenship Logistics was established in Hong Kong in 1985 and now has developed to be a diversified transport group in Hong Kong.

May 1985 We started by operating a fleet of trucks running across the border between Hong Kong and mainland China.

June 1985Our efforts soon resulted in our being able to offer railway services to all points of China

March 1986 By the next year, our company was able to provide break bulk and chartering services between the Hong Kong and Guangdong seaports

March 1987Two years after the establishment of our company, we were developing multimodal services between China and the rest of the world, via Hong Kong

January 1988 1988 saw our corporation operating a scheduled Break Bulk feeder between Hong Kong and Shekou, China.

December 1992 By this time our service had further diversified, as we began facilitating the sales and purchase of used containers, as well as leasing and transporting ISO Tank Containers.

January 1993 In keeping with a tradition of 'providing solutions,' 1993 saw our company providing total logistics services to oil well companies in Shekou and Zhanjiang, both within mainland China.

December 1996 This was a time of innovation for Shenship Logistic, as we sought to develop a Third PartyLogistics Service, and promote the concepts of this business strategy to firms in Southern China.

February 2000 Almost 15 years since our company first started offering logistics services, we started operating a full container feeder (128 TEU) between Hong Kong and Wenzhou / Haimen, both situated within mainland China..September 2000

At this time our company proudly began operating its own warehouse in Kwai Chung and moved to Hunghom afterwards. From here Shenship Logistics sought to offer more comprehensive and competitive services in an ever expanding market.

September 2003Thus, in September, we are appointed as GSA of EWIL Lines to canvass container shipments from Hong Kong and Southern China to the Caribbean and Central America October 2003 The reputation of Shenship Logistics as a dynamic shipping operative in Asia was further emphasized in 2003. During this time, we began acting as GSA of EP Carriers to canvass container shipments from Hong Kong and Southern China to Yangon, Myanmar.

February 2005 We've teamed up with COOS China Ocean Oilfields Services (HK) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of CNOOC China Ltd., in serving the rapidly growing Oil & Gas logistics market in China.

September 2005Established own offices in Guangzhou and Xiamen to cater the substantial regional growth of multi-modal and NVOCC in the regions.

January 2006

We formed a service co-operation

alliance with Shenzhen Weisheng Oil

Technology Co., Ltd., a CNOOC Oil

Containers Business

We own a fleet of new and used containers in our Hong Kong depots. Our current stock is already over 1,000 teus, which consists of dry van, open-top, flack-rack, high-cube. All the containers are either 20' or 40' in size.

Turn-key Projects and Heavy Lifting

Over the last 12 years, we have handled a lot of Turn-key Projects and projects which involve Heavy

Lifting in Hong Kong, Macau and Southern China, and have gained a very good reputation in the market.

Warehousing and Distribution

Our warehouse is situated in a prime location i.e. Hunghom Bay, Kowloon. Container ports are within the area

and our warehouse acts as an entrance to the highway

to the international airport.

The warehouse is running on a VPN virtual private

network with the company henceforth, able to provide

real time information to the clients and agents.

It's accessible, housing 40' containers and equipped with loading bays and fork-lift trucks, all completely

covered by insurance.
