The symbol for this month is the butterfly. Overwhelmingly, cultural myth and folklore

honor the butterfly as a symbol of transformation because of its impressive process of

metamorphosis.This unwavering acceptance of metamorphosis is also symbolic of faith.The butterfly beckons us to keep our faith as we undergo transitions in our lives.

Christianity considers the butterfly as a symbol for the soul. We can look again to therace and eloquence of the butterfly and realize that our journey is our only guarantee.

Our responsibility is to make our way in faith, accept the change that comes, and emerge

rom our transitions as brilliantly as the butterfly.

This month we have been working on a benefit for the Colten Crum Memorial Fund.

hells Designs and More is hosting a raffle. The prize is about $100 in Cowgirl Bling

Merchandise. The tickets are $5.00 a piece and all proceeds of the raffle go to the fund to

help with medical and funeral expenses. The drawing will be held at the Clinton

Community Market in Clinton, LA on October 5, 2013 at our booth. The drawing date was

extended due to the rain out of the Rodeo on the drawing date in fairness to the family.
