The Supertram will stop at every tram stop if you are waiting on the platform to board.

On each tram there is a conductor who will collect fares. Simply state your destination, ask for ticket options or for both tram and bus travel choose the tram & bus Dayrider /Megarider.

Each destination is announced over the PA system. When you want to get off, press the bell, then once the tram has stopped press the ‘door open’ button once illuminated to operate the doors.

At peak times Supertram services operate every 10 minutes on the Blue and Yellow routes and every 20 minutes at all other times.

Getting into Sheffield City Centre couldn’t be easier; we’ve picked out a few of the great places Sheffield has to offer and details of how to get there.

Sheffield Theatres, Crucible and Lyceum Visit the regions best theatre venues, just a short walk from the Castle Square or Cathedral tram stops, which are served by all three tram routes. Alternatively catch one of the many Stagecoach bus services in to the City Centre.

City Hall Located adjacent to the City Hall tram stop this recently refurbished City Centre venue is served by both the Blue and Yellow tram routes as well as frequent bus services.

Ponds Forge International Sports Centre Take the plunge and enjoy a swim in the heart of the City. Ponds Forge is situated opposite the Fitzalan Square/Ponds Forge tram stop and is served by all three tram routes plus various Stagecoach bus services.

Sheffield Railway Station Sheffield’s main railway station, situated in the centre of the City, is linked to the tram line and served by the Blue and Purple tram routes.

Sheffield City Centre Meadowhall Shopping Centre Situated in the North East of Sheffield, Meadowhall has its own transport interchange with excellent tram services. Simply look out for the Meadowhall trams on the Yellow tram route.

Valley Centertainment Located between the Arena and Meadowhall retail park, this venue offers great facilities including: a multi-screen cinema, 10 pin bowling plus many delicious restaurants. Use the Valley Centertainment tram stop on the Yellow route.

Motorpoint Arena The Motorpoint Arena has its own tram stop (Arena/Don Valley Stadium) and is situated on the Yellow tram route.

Ice Sheffield / English Institute of Sport Both of these excellent sporting facilities are located opposite each other and are accessed from the Arena/Don Valley stadium tramstop on the Yellow tram route.

Don Valley Stadium One of the country’s largest world class athletics stadiums, DVS also hosts a variety of concerts and events. It is also home ground to Rotherham United FC and Sheffield Eagles Rugby League.

Sheffield United FC A short walk from the Granville Road tram stop on both the Blue and Purple tram routes is Bramall Lane the home of Sheffield United FC. Stagecoach Sheffield also run a range of bus services to get you to this destination.

Hillsborough In the suburbs to the North West of Sheffield is Hillsborough, home to Sheffield Wednesday FC, Owlerton Greyhound & Speedway Stadium and Hillsborough Leisure Centre. Served by both the Blue and Yellow tram routes. For Sheffield Wednesday FC, use the Leppings Lane tram stop which is served by the yellow tram route. Stagecoach Sheffield also run a range of bus services to get you to these destinations.

Crystal Peaks shopping centre Take a ride out of the city along the rural outskirts to the South of Sheffield and visit Crystal Peaks for a bit of retail therapy and maybe a bite to eat. Use the Crystal Peaks tram stop on the Blue tram route. Stagecoach Sheffield also run a range of bus services to get you to this destination.

Ecclesall Road - shopping and dining Offering a diverse range of shops, trendy bars and restaurants, take advantage of the frequent services offered by Stagecoach Sheffield buses, see website for timetable and route information.

The University of Sheffield A short walk from the University of Sheffield tram stop will see you at the heart of this popular seat of learning served by both the Blue and Yellow tram routes. Stagecoach Sheffield also run a range of bus services to get you to this destination.

Sheffield Hallam University Situated in the centre of the city, City Campus is served by the Supertram Sheffield Station/Sheffield Hallam University tram stop. Plus many Stagecoach bus services.

Northern General Hospital Easily accessed by Stagecoach Sheffield bus services (use your Dayrider or Megarider ticket to travel by both bus & tram), please check websites for route information.

Hallamshire Hospital Situated on Western Bank, Hallamshire Hospital can easily be accessed by The University of Sheffield tram stop. Stagecoach Sheffield also run a range of bus services to get you to this destination.
