The following pages (4-9) are a comparative analysis of twelve cornerbacks drafted between the years of 2003-2005. Shawn’s skills and numbers speak for themselves and he feels confident he will flourish at the professional level. With understanding all factors involved in the recruiting processes, we stayed with protocol and set the analysis to drafted players with similar statistics and from comparable programs. Even though these players are listed as cornerbacks in the NFL, fifty percent (50%) in the analysis played both safety and cornerback during their college career; which aided in comparing Shawn’s career statistics with theirs. All statistics were taken from “official” websites. Where there is a 0 indicates no statistics were found on that player for that category.
