Naming Sharm el-Sheikh city, and you might like to know the word sharm means “bay” and El Sheik means “wise old man” and it called "City of Peace", one of the most beautiful four cities in the world according to the classification of the BBC in 2005 .with it’s unique location on the Red sea coast, the epicenter of attracting a banner for many sectors of tourists due to its climate mild most of the year, and the purity of its beaches sprawling, also has a great number of villages and tourist hotels in Egypt.

Location

• Sharm el-Sheikh is a city situated on the southern tip of the Sinai peninsula, in South Egypt, on the coastal strip along the red sea

Its population is approximately 35,000 as of 2008, are estimated to reach about 132

thousand inhabitants in 2017.

Eco-tourismThe Egyptian government is

planning to do initiatives to attract more eco-tourists to Sharm el Sheikh. Although diving helps to support the local economy, tourism development activities have put the reefs under threat. Green initiatives include the introduction of diving restrictions, use of renewable energy sources and reef conservation projects. Sharm has great potential for eco-tourism, with three protected natural areas, including St. Katherine National Park, its diverse marine wildlife and range of adventure activities.

Dining and NightlifeMost of Sharm's nightlife is focused around Na'ama Bay, but

the Old Town is also well worth exploring, with shops and sheesha cafes open until very late. Local restaurants serve both traditional Egyptian and international cuisine, and casual dining is available at beach-front cafes.

-Overcrowding: The most prominent manifestation of this city is overcrowding in the ways and means of transportation.

2- Housing: sharm el-sheik city like other cities in Egypt are having trouble in the housing and this is causing Overcrowding.

3- Pollution: Has found that urban areas with high concentrations of many harmful pollutants due to the large number of cars and the concentration of dust suspended in the air sharm city center and crowded areas

sharm El Sheikh is not just your everyday tourist paradise, but considering it's dramatic heart melting scenery that charmed the world it IS a real paradise which you will look upon not as a regular tourist destination but as another type of luxury
