We found ourselves faced with 3 problems

tWCCC recognized a need to remain clinically accurate and to demonstrate curricular infusion.

Both parties recognized the advantage of sharing human capital, material resources and expertise.

Local Primary hospital had a desire to train and evaluate their OB staff using simulation. They did not have the resources or staff to complete this on their own.

• WCCC developed a simulation scenario to evaluate identified hospital staff performance according to standard protocols. The College provided simulation staff and high fidelity simulator.

• Hospital provided content expertise and guidelines. The hopsital also provided equipment and space for use during the scenario.

• Physicians repeated technique to improve performance time.• Experienced nurses shared reality of previous clinical

situations. • Newly hired nurses were introduced to uncommon clinical
