LETTERS TO OUR TROOPS

Mary Fix wanted to send letters to our troops – now one school’s idea is shared and many schools in the DPCDSB participate.

Sacred SpaceStudents from St. Gertrude thoroughly enjoyed the sacred space that was created when their school’s new Nativity set was displayed in their library. 

Crowning of Mary

The staff and students of Mary Fix brought back the tradition and celebrated the Month of Mary with a Crowning of Mary Mass.

Teddy Bears sent to Afghanistan

After hearing one school’s successful results for their Teddy Bear Drive, another parent took the idea back to her school in Brampton.

Over 2000 more teddy bears and stuffed animals were collected!

Milk bag collectionA parent from St. Rita’s school shared what her school was doing to help out with Milkbags Unlimited. The initiative was introduced board-wide.

Schools in the DPCDSB collected over 200,000 bags.
