When we learn about Jesus and His indescribable love for us, we want to tell others about Him—even through song and music, as it says in Hebrews 2:12. Have fun making music to praise the Lord. YOU WILL NEED: DIRECTIONS: 1. For Hand Drum: Apply packing tape to the surface of the parchment paper. HAND DRUM • 4-5” Plastic Container • Packing Tape • Construction Paper • Scotch Tape • Scissors • 2 Unsharpened Pencils • Parchment Paper • Rubber Bands 3abnkids.tv Sharing Music SHAKERS • Large Plastic Jar • Small Plastic Bottle • Tape • Stapler • Construction Paper • Dried Beans, Peas, Lentils (Rice) • 1 Paper Towel Roll • Tape PAN FLUTE • Straws • Poster Boad • Double-sided Tape • Scissors • Tape 2. Pull the parchment paper down over the mouth of the plastic container. Wrap rubber bands around it tightly. 3. Trim off the excess paper. Decorate as you like. Use the pencils for drumsticks. The hand drum is ready! 1. For Shakers: Staple one end of the paper towel roll closed. Pour some dried peas into the roll. Staple the other end closed. 2. Pour dried beans into the large plastic jar. Close the lid tightly. Pour lentils or rice into the small plastic bottle. Screw the cap on tightly. 3. Decorate. The shakers are ready! 1. For the Pan Flute: Cut a 5x1” strip of poster board and cover one side with double- sided tape. Line up straws evenly in a row on the sticky side. 2. Turn over and apply another strip of poster board on the other side. Cover the poster board with tape all the way around. Cut the free end of the straws off on a diagonal. The pan flute is ready! 1. For the Horn: Roll up the hose, leaving the ends free. Wrap around the bundle with tape in several places. Attach the connector to one end and the funnel to the other. The horn is ready! HORN • 6-10’ Garden Hose • Electrical Tape • Funnel • Hose Connector • Scissors
