What is a Data Warehouse?
• A Data Warehouse is the main repository of an organization's historical data, its corporate memory. It contains the raw material of a company's business intelligence system.
• It’s designed to store historical data
• It brings information together from multiple source systems into a single data store.
• The data is stored using special techniques that are optimized for analysis and reporting.
