Share Music SwedenAn arts organisation and facilitator, arranging performances and courses in music, dance, theatre and art. At our core is to work towards a society where all human beings have the opportunity to express themselves as artists in a world where difference is seen as valuable. In 2010 Share Music won the Ability Media International Award in dance and was described as an ”exceptional and creatively brilliant company”.
The uniqueness of Share MusicThe combination of performers with and without disabilities and all art forms is our unique characteristic.
We invite world-renowned artists to share the stage equally with people of varying abilities. Together, they entertain in theatres, inspire in workshops, educate in lectures and collaborate in projects throughout Sweden and internationally. We achieve performances of distinction and professionalism of the highest order.
Focus on PerformancesWe find stages and platforms in usual and unusual places; travel centers, concert halls, on the street and at festivals. You may see us in a grand concert hall orunexpectedly as you wait for a train.
For a richer societyEach Share Music Sweden performer is an ambassador who will go on to relate the significance of the work we do to other performers, artists and audiences. This inspires us and keeps us focused on high standards, unique opportunities and a broader artistic life.
