[Sounding Sand Bay] is in the Kubuqi Desert, a small section of the Gobi Desert about 350 miles (563 km) west of Beijing. When people are sliding down 110-meter-high, 45-degree sand hills, cause the "singing sands" to produce a roaring or booming sound, an unexplained natural phenomenon.

[Dazhao Temple] has been the centre for Tibetan Buddhism in Inner Mongolia and boasts impressive murals and one of the largest silver Buddha in China.

[Yungang Grottoes] one of the most famous ancient Buddhist sculptural sites of China.It were built against the mountain and extend about 1 km from east to west. It took 50 years to complete.revealing 53 caves and over 51,000 stone statues

[Pingyao Ancient Town] one of the best-preserved ancient towns in China. It was first founded during the Western Zhou Dynasty. [Qiao Family Compound] is enclosed by a brick wall more than a 38 ft tall and consists of 6 large courtyards and 20 smaller courtyards around which 313 rooms are linked together. Inside its houses are luxuriously furnished and well laid out with exquisite patterns carved on the doors, windows, stairs, and balustrades. Visiting here is like looking through a window into the day-to-day life of upper class Chinese of centuries ago.
