Success stories • MOPR revised TOR of LPC ( provision of 33 percent
women participation)• Facilitation in inactivation and extension of LPCs in
all 75 districts. • National Youth Policy 2067 • Orientation to The District Coordination
Committees (DCC) on NAP implementation in 31 SM working districts.
• Supreme Court decision on Citizenship (Provision on Providing Citizenship from Mother’s Name).
• Increased participation and awareness of Women on Gender Equality and Peace Initiatives.
Continued
• Obtained Commitments from Senior Political Leaders for formation of gender friendly state mechanism.
• Blanket Amnesty has become matter of high concern for formation of TRC.
• SM developed its linkage with community level Groups of PVSE (347), Peace Centers in four Districts.

Lesson Learned
• Frequent and timely information sharing of contemporary political affairs with community is essential
• For Sustainable Peace addressing crosscutting issues of Peace (Security, Development, Education, Health…..)
• Right Based Advocacy Initiative & livelihood components must go simultaneously.
• Partnership with Government, linkage building with grass roots and National level policy is key for accomplishing goal of SM.

Way forward • SM Continuous/Regular follow up of issues raised by
SM• Pressure to Government, Policy Maker for effective
implementation of commitment and existing laws• Continuation of Initiatives for sustaining working
relation with Gov, likeminded CSOs and Community• Continue linkage and networking with district and
local structure
