Chinese Language Program

at Shanghai Jiaotong University

Go Abroad China's unique Chinese Language Programs are offered by China's top university and

professional teachers in Beijing and Shanghai. The programs are designed to immerse participants in Mandarin

Chinese through class instruction, after-class tutoring, language exchange with native Mandarin Chinese speakers,

and culture electives and excursions. Teachers and supervisors are native speakers who are highly experienced and

qualified, and hold university degrees in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. All levels are available.

About Jiaotong University

Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) is one of the oldest and

most influential universities in China. The university is operating on a

well-developed infrastructural base of more than 200 hectares.

Originally called Nan Yang Public School in 1896; by 1930 it had

become known as the "Eastern MIT". The campus has more than 4,000

overseas students and is rich in culture, history and arts providing

ample opportunities to experiencing a plethora of quality education and

experience.

Notable past attendees of SJTU include Jiang Zemin (former President of China), Luc Montagnier (a Nobel

Prize Laureate for the discovery of HIV) and Ding Junhui (China's top snooker player).

Go Abroad China is a 9-year-old organization (since 2003) devoted to fostering international understanding

through cultural exchange and educational programs in China. There are more than 900 individuals have participated

in GAC programs since 2003.

We are combining Mandarin Chinese language and culture classes with extra-curricular workshops,
