William Shakespeare Scavenger Hunt  Directions:  Before  we  begin  our  unit  on  Romeo  and  Juliet,  complete  this  scavenger  hunt  to  learn  more  about  the  author,  William  Shakespeare,  his  works,  and  the  era  he  lived  in.    As  you  visit  each  site,  read  the  information  carefully  (as  well  as  the  directions  on  this  worksheet)  and  answer  the  corresponding  questions.    To  begin:  Access  our  class  website  and  click  on  Scavenger  Hunt  under  the  Course  Documents  tab.    There  will  be  5  links  listed;  each  one  corresponds  to  a  section  of  the  hunt  worksheet  (i.e.  For  the  questions  under  the  section  titled,  Biographical  Background,  click  the  link  that  reads  Biographical  Background).    Good  luck  and  have  fun!

17. Click  on  Shakespeare  Illustrated,  then  click  on  The  Plays,  and  then  click  on  Romeo  and  Juliet.    Check  out  several  of  the  illustrations,  and  print  your  favorite  one.    Staple  the  print  to  the  back  of  this  scavenger  hunt.    

 

When  all  the  questions  are  answered  and  your  illustration  is  printed,  please  

turn  in  your  scavenger  hunt.    If  you  are  not  finished,  you  may  finish  it  for  

homework  and  bring  it  to  class  tomorrow.
