BI Rental, Inc. has been serving the Chicagoland area since 1993 when Ed
Skala and Steve Dowling started the business. It all started as a small store at
Vermont & California in Blue Island, Illinois, offering top-quality equipment
rentals and party rentals. As business started to grow, they moved the shop to
Alsip, IL. After a successful move they decided to expand the business and
open up a second location in Homer Glen IL. After 15 great years, they
ultimately decided to close down the Alsip location.
With a combined 60 years of experience in the rental business, Steve and Ed
are always on site to provide advice and make suggestions to make sure you
get the right tool for your job or equipment for your party. Customer
satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, so we will make sure to answer any
inquiries and questions you might have. If we don't have the equipment you're
looking for, we will point you in the direction of someone who does.
Whether you are looking to rent, purchase or need a machine repaired, one of
our representatives will make sure your needs are met. We are open 7 days a
week to help you get your projects done. When you need tool rentals for your
DIY or construction project, or party rentals for events of all sizes, turn to BI

many tools for several of our projects from remodeling to yard work and also
including the dunk tank during open house where everyone loves to take a

$100.00 ($115.00 if you would like a replica mini brick) and can be purchased through the polar engraving camp

By purchasing a brick, you will not only be immortalizing your occasion or
loved one, but also be providing much needed funds to SOC. Bricks may

We want to thank all the people from St. Michael the Arch Angel Church for coming out to finish gutting
building 12. Your help with this project was very much appreciated! Now we can begin the rebuild
Thanks to everyone who came out to our camp holiday party on January 6th. We had our largest turnout in over 20
years!! Also, a big thank you to everyone who donated to our United Way of Will County funding drive. We
raised $500.00 with your help!
A huge Thank you to Emilia Evans for her generous donation to SOC. Emilia is a remarkable, caring, unselfish
young lady who we had a pleasure to meet at the camp holiday party. For Christmas, Emilia wrote a letter to
"Santa”, asking that instead of bringing her gifts this year, donations be made to Shady Oaks Camp. Her friends
and family were so touched by her letter that they took up a collection and raised $700.00 for camp! Thank you so
much Emilia, and those who made this donation a possibility!!
We want to give a big thank you to all of you who have donated to SOC this past month: Laurie Harff, Laurel &
Brian Ward, Patrick & Tracey Gannon, Sietske De Vries, Helen Burroughs, Gene & Eileen Dunne, Lorna

Corporate Matching Grant Program Several companies participate in matching grant
programs meaning the amount of money raised by the individual or a group of individuals is matched by your
corporation.
So don’t forget to talk to your company’s human resources department to see if they are willing to match a donation that you make to Shady Oaks Camp. If so, then spread the word to your co-workers as quickly as
you can. Every penny counts!
