SH 114 TEXpress LANES (SH 121 to Rochelle Blvd./Riverside Dr.)

PROJECT FACT SHEET OVERVIEWThe SH 114 TEXpress Lanes run eastbound from SH 161 (President George Bush Turn-pike) to Rochelle Blvd./Riverside Dr. and westbound from Rochelle Blvd./Riverside Dr. to SH 121 connecting with the DFW Connector TEXpress Lanes. They feature one lane in each direction and operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The lanes provide drivers a choice. They can take the general purpose lanes at no cost or pay to use the TEXpress Lanes, which are managed to keep traffic moving 50 mph or faster. Until early 2019, pricing will follow a schedule. After this period, traffic speeds will be maintained through dynamic pricing, meaning the price fluctuates based on congestion in the TEXpress Lane.

� Location: SH 114 in Irving

� Project Description: One lane eastbound from SH 161 (President George Bush Turnpike) to Rochelle Blvd./Riverside Dr.; one lane westbound from Rochelle Blvd./Riverside Dr. to SH 121.

� Length: Approximately four miles eastbound and eight miles westbound

COST OPTIONS � Toll Tag: Scheduled pricing until early 2019 (see page 2) then dynamic pricing

� No Toll Tag: Pay-by-mail rate (Toll Tag Rate + 50%)

� Activated HOV and Motorcyclists with Valid Toll Tag: Half price on weekdays during peak hours
