What is international trade?
International trade is the buying and selling of raw materials, manufactured goods and services between countries e.g. bananas sold by Ghana to Tesco in the UK or Ghana buying British made Land Rovers.

Manufactured goods are those things which have been made in factories e.g. tables, Coca Cola or Land Rovers.
Primary goods are foods and raw materials that have not beenmade but are found naturally occurring e.g. gold or can be grown
Developing countries (ELDC’s) have few factories so they need to import mainly manufactured goods. They produceand export primary goods to pay for them.
