SETTING UP YOUR TWITTER ACCOUNT

Use this guide to configure your Twitter account to be used with your App.

HELP GUIDE

1. First you need go to http://apps.twitter.com and log in:

2. Click ‘Create New App’.

3. Fill in all required fields highlighted in red.

A Callback URL is just a link to your website.

5. Go to the ‘Keys and Access Tokens’ tab.

6. You will need to copy the keys highlighted in red.

Consumer Key (API Key) = Twitter Key Consumer Secret (API Secret) = Twitter Secret

7. Click ‘Create my access token’ to reveal your Access Token keys.

8. You will need to copy the keys highlighted in red.

Access Token = Twitter Access Access Token Secret = Twitter Secret

9. Log into your App Builder CMS account and go to your App’s ‘Publish’ Page.

10. Select the ‘Global Settings’ tab.

11. Scroll down to the Twitter API section and copy and paste the appropriate keys into their relevant fields.

12. Scroll down and ‘Save Settings’.

13. Check it has worked by going to the Twitter module within your App and clicking ‘follow’. The page should display the name and website of the Twitter App you have just created.

Congratulations! Your App is now configured with your Twitter Account.
