3. Cara menggunakan sambungan internet

Menggunakan Internet Connection Sharing untuk berbagi sambungan Internet, komputer host harus memiliki adapter jaringan yang telah dikonfigurasi untuk menyambungkan ke jaringan internal, dan satu adapter jaringan atau modem telah dikonfigurasi untuk menyambungkan ke Internet.

On the host computer

On the host computer, follow these steps to share the Internet connection:

1. Log on to the host computer as Administrator or as Owner.

2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

3. Click Network and Internet Connections.

4. Click Network Connections.

5. Right-click the connection that you use to connect to the Internet. For example, if you connect to the Internet by using a modem, right-click the connection that you want under Dial-up.

6. Click Properties.

7. Click the Advanced tab.

8. Under Internet Connection Sharing, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box.

9. If you are sharing a dial-up Internet connection, select the Establish a dial-up connection whenever a computer on my network attempts to access the Internet check box if you want to permit your computer to automatically connect to the Internet.

10. Click OK. You receive the following message:

When Internet Connection Sharing is enabled, your LAN adapter will be set to use IPaddress 192.168.0.1. Your computer may lose connectivity with other computers onyour network. If these other computers have static IP addresses, it is a good idea to set themto obtain their IP addresses automatically. Are you sure you want to enable InternetConnection Sharing?

11. Click Yes.

Sambungan ke Internet dibagi ke komputer lainnya pada jaringan area lokal (LAN). Adapter jaringan yang disambungkan ke LAN telah dikonfigurasi dengan alamat IP tetap 192.168.0.1 dan penutup subnet 255.255.255.0

Pada komputer klien

Untuk menyambungkan ke Internet dengan menggunakan sambungan terbagi, Anda harus mengkonfirmasi konfigurasi IP adapter LAN, kemudian mengkonfigurasi komputer klien. Untuk mengkonfirmasi konfigurasi IP adapter LAN, ikuti langkah-langkah berikut ini:

1. Log on to the host computer as Administrator or as Owner.

4. Click Network Connections.

Catatan Anda juga dapat menetapkan alamat IP tetap tertentu di dalam kisaran 192.168.0.2 sampai 192.168.0.254. Contohnya, Anda dapat menetapkan alamat IP tetap, penutup subnet, dan gateway default berikut ini:

1. Alamat IP 192.168.0.2

2. Penutup Subnet 255.255.255.0

3. Gateway default 192.168.0.1

Subnet mask 255.255.255.0

Default gateway 192.168.0.1

4. In the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box, click OK.

5. Quit Control Panel.

Untuk mengkonfigurasi komputer klien agar dapat menggunakan sambungan Internet terbagi, ikuti langkah-langkah berikut ini:

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

2. Click Network and Internet Connections.

3. Click Internet Options.

4. In the Internet Properties dialog box, click the Connections tab.

5. Click the Setup button.

The New Connection Wizard starts.

6. On the Welcome to the New Connection Wizard page, click Next.

7. Click Connect to the Internet, and then click Next.

8. Click Set up my connection manually, and then click Next.

9. Click Connect using a broadband connection that is always on, and then click Next.

10. On the Completing the New Connection Wizard page, click Finish.

11. Quit Control Panel.

4) Konfigurasikan komputer untuk berkongsi fail

1. Log on to your computer as an administrator..

2. Click Start, and then click My Documents.

3. Right-click the folder that you want to share, and then click Sharing and Security.

4. If you see a message that reads, As a security measure, Windows has disabled remote access to this computer, click the Network Setup Wizard link. Then

follow the instructions in How to set up your computer for home networking. On the File and printer sharing page of the Network Setup Wizard, be sure to select Turn on file and printer sharing. If you do not see this message, skip this step and go to step 5.

Note: If you do not see the Network Setup Wizard link or the Share this folder on the network check box, your computer probably has Simple File Sharing disabled. This is a common change made to computers used for business. In fact, it happens automatically when a computer joins an Active Directory domain. You should follow these instructions to share a folder instead.

5. In the Properties dialog box, select the Share this folder on the network check box.

6. If you want to be able to edit your files from any computer on your network (instead of just being able to open them without saving any changes), select the Allow network users to change my files check box.

5) Cara kongsi printer

Sebelum menetapkan sharing printer pada mesin Windows pastikan terlebih dahulu bahawa printer disambungkan dan dikonfigurasikan

1. Select ‘Printers and Faxes’ from the Start menu.

2. A list of installed printers and faxes will display.

3. Right-click on the icon of the printer you wish to share and select ‘Sharing’ from the pop-up menu.

4. Select the ‘Share this printer’ option.

5. Enter a name for the printer in the ‘Share name’ field. . This name will appear as the printer’s name on your Mac.

6. Click the ‘Apply’ button.
