Vocational Program Information Do you know of a person served that thinks finding a job in Danville is impossible? Do you know of a person served that has difficulty keeping a job because of their disa-bility? Crosspoint Human Services’ Individual Placement and Support Program can help them change the impossible to POSSIBLE. Our Employment Specialists can assist with identifying a job that will best match their interests, situation and skills set. Other services include resume building, improving in-terview skills, assistance with completing applications, meeting hiring managers, follow-up services, and job retention training. If you have any questions, please call Vanetta Harvey, Vocation Supervisor, at 442-3200 ext 110 for more information or to make a referral.

Crosspoint Housing in Danville

Did you know that Crosspoint Human Services owns and operates all sorts of housing throughout Danville? Why do you need to know this? Because YOU, a person you serve or

someone you know may want or need quality affordable or subsidized housing that is professionally man-aged and maintained.

Here is a little bit about each building:

1005 N. Oak St., Danville, IL

Known as Oak Street Apartments, these one bedroom garden style apartments provide comfortable and af-fordable living. The eight apartments, five on each side of the courtyard, are designed for one to two inhab-itants. Two apartments are handicap accessible. Rent is $375 per month and tenant pays electric and wa-ter.bills. Anyone with a clean criminal, credit and landlord history can live here. A one year lease is re-quired. Currently, all units are rented but we will accept applicants for the wait list.

1210 Holiday Dr., Danville, IL

These are 4 efficiency style apartments located next to Danville Independent Living Center (DILC). TheseHUD Section 202/8 apartments are set aside for people with disabilities per the HUD definition of disability. People with no income or extremely low income qualify to live here and rent is calculated per a HUD for-mula that is never more than 30% of a person's income. Criminal and credit checks will be performed on perspective tenants. And, the utilities are covered by HUD! A pplications are being taken to add to our wait list.

506 Sheridan, Danville, IL

This two story building holds eight 2-bedroom apartments and is also a HUD Section 202/8 building set aside for people with disabilities. At Sheridan Apartments, two single people share the common areas but have their own bedrooms. People living at Sheridan can receive services from The Crosspoint Care Coordination team.
