HansaBioMed Life Sciences provides high expertise in Exosome and Microvesi-cle purifi cation from human or animal biofl uids and cell culture media (HBM-LS can provide both cell growth and EV isolation or EV isolation from supernatant collected by customer). Exosome isolation can be obtained following our stan-dard protocols which combine tangential fl ow fi ltration and SEC, or via other methodologies, such as immunoaffi nity (latex beads) and ultracentrifugation. Isolated EVs are subsequently quantifi ed for total protein contents and validated by nano tracking analysis (NTA) with the Zetaview equipment (Particle Metrix). Purifi ed EVs can be shipped to the customer lyophilized or frozen, as required.

Service Description

Cell culture growth and EV isolation

Cell lines can be shipped to HBM, who provides cell growth and EV isolation.

Isolation by Ultracentrifugation and Microfi ltration

Method for isolating EV from a large amount of sample. Service includes EV isolation, NTA and protein content quantifi cation.

Isolation by Size Exclusion Chromatografy

Isoaltion from small volume (100 μl - 2 ml). Service includes EV isolation, NTA and protein content quantifi cation.

Isolation by Immunoaffi nityIsoaltion from small volume (500 μl - 10 ml). Th e method allows to enrich EV subpopulations. Service includes EV isola-tion, NTA and protein content quantifi cation.

Together with RNA, proteins are an important source of biomarkers and poten-tial indicators of disease states. HansaBioMed provides services for detection, quantifi cation and profi ling of exosome proteins, which can be analyzed via Ex-oTEST ELISA, Mass spectrometry , FACS analysis or Western Blott ing.

EV ELISA profi ling

ELISA assay is an effi cient method for isolating and profi ling protein markers. HBM-LS can provide:1- Multiple profi ling of exosome markers from a single sample.2- Exosome marker profi ling of a large number of samples.3- Possibility to customize the ELISA plate for EV subpopula-tion enrichment.

Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis service

EV Nucleic Acid Isolation

Nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) is a method for visualizing and analyzing particles in liquids that relates the rate of Brownian motion to particle size. NTA allows the determination of a size distribution profi le of small particles with a diameter of approximately 10-1000 nanometers (nm) in liquid suspension. NTA service is performed by the use of Zetaview (Particle Metrix), which allows EV characterization by size distribution, concentration, zeta potential and pheno-typing.

EVs shutt le functional RNAs (75% miRNA) and genomic DNA. HansaBioMed Life Sciences provides a wide portf olio of kits and services for EV-associated RNAs and DNA isolation from human/ animal biofl uids (plasma, serum, urine, etc.) and cell culture media. Nucleic Acids (NA) are isolated with the HBM-LS proprietary technology and quantifi ed by Nanodrop analysis. Delivery time approximately 1-2 weeks.

EV-RNAs Isolation

EV-RNA is purifi ed by HBM-LS RNA extraction kits, which uses immunobeads for capturing EVs. Customers have the advan-tage to customize the immunobeads for enrichment of specifi c EV subpopulations1-Total RNA from overall EV population2-Total RNA from specifi c EV subpopulations

EV-DNA Isolation

DNA isolation is performed by HBM-LS kit. Th e service al-lows:1- Isolation of cf-DNA and EV-DNA2- Isolation of only EV-DNA 3- Isolation of genomic DNA contained in EV subpopulations.

EV Nucleic Acid profi ling and Next Generation Sequencing

Hansabiomed Life Sciences scientists can provide an expert service for the iden-tifi cation of exosome-associated RNA/DNA biomarkers leveraging the through-put and scalability of Ion Torrent and SOLiD System (Th ermo Fisher Scientifi c) next-generation sequencing (NGS) platf orms. Th is service is an easy solution for researchers who are interested in identifying new exosome RNA biomarkers or in the profi ling expression of such biomarkers in the exosomes of their model cellular systems or patient biofl uids. You will receive your data back in approxi-mately 4-6 weeks.

Nucleic Acid profi ling and Next-Generation Sequencing

Service Description

Profi ling of EV associated NA by qPCR.

Profi ling of RNA/DNA exosome markers. Probes can be de-signed by the customer and sent to HBM-LS.

Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)
