Emission TestIn order to determine the need for servicing, Baumot

subjects its exhaust system to thorough emission tests involving dif-ferent levels. This test is suitable for all emission systems:

• Testing of the catalyst funct ions• Pipe insulat ion element and upgrade recommendations• Test ing the exhaust back pressure to determine

any system faults• Download of the ESD (Electronic Servicing Display)

to identi f y faults and to ensure continued optimal per formance• Engine exhaust test in order detect potential engine

problems

Servicing of Conventional Exhaust SystemsIn order to reduce premature malfunctions of common

exhaust components, Baumot can perform a general check of your exhaust system components. This includes:

•Checking the ver t ical exhaust pipe or the alignment of the exhaust box /silencer• Inspection of the piping, connection and connecting

cables • Checking the exhaust pipe, inspection of the bracket,

f i t t ings and holders, as well as the exhaust box and silencers• Check for road damage

Cleaning of Exhaust SystemsShould your emission reduct ion system ever be blocked

or out of order, Baumot w i l l be pleased to help you whip your f i l ter back into shape by gi v ing i t a thorough cleaning. This c leaning compr ises:

• Dismantling the f i l ter system• Burning out the f i l ter system • Blowing out of the f i l ter system
