I WAS meditating recently to find out from God what will be our theme for 2013. There were certain challenges I saw in 2012 that I was asking God to completely eradicate in the next. God answered and said, "All covenanted ministries (whether individual or church) will hit major storm in their 3rd year. If the ministry escapes that by grace, a greater storm will come against it in its 6th year. If the ministry equally escapes the double storm, it will then qualify for the blessings of the 7th year”. For us in Everlasting Father's Assembly, there were storms that we went through at three years. To the glory of God, we escape them all. Also at six years, thank God for all the astounding accomplishments that we have enjoyed, we also escaped double storms. Glory be to God! So I asked God, since we have escaped the sixth year, what is the blessing of the seventh year? He took me back to the creation of the world. He said, ‘What did the bible says I did on the seventh day’? And I said that You rested from Your labours. So, God said "2013 is your year of My rest". Note that it is the God's rest, not our kind of rest. The bible says that God does not sleep nor slumber (Ps. 121:4). So it's not a rest of sleep. Neither is it of folding of hands. It is a rest from excessive labours and entering into excessive favours. The seventh day was a time when God stopped creating on this earth, but switched to watching over what He has created. In 2013, God will help us to look after what He has created for us and through us. We will supervise and oversee machinery that will run itself. Every system that God has helped us to create will begin to work for us. Grace will supersede haste. There was a time when the Israelites were fighting Canaan, the Israelites were outnumbered. So God began to use constellations to fight for them (Judges 5:20). God will assign hosts of heaven to work for us in 2013 . By Pastor Samuel Obafaiye FOR INDIVIDUALS FOR NIGERIA: INTERNATIONAL: : 1. To remove impurities, dirt, filth; to remove guilt; to purge; etc. when this cleansing is an act of God or done to please God, it would then be Divine cleansing. God is always looking for a cleansed vessel to anoint, empower and use for His own glory. Also, for someone to be able to experience and perform miracles, purity of heart and flesh are prerequisite. As the children of Israel were looking forward in anticipation to witness the miracle of the parting of the Jordan River in order to enter into their Promised Land, the call to sanctify or cleanse themselves was proclaimed throughout their camp to witness and partake in such an astounding occurrence (Joshua 3:5). As soon as that was achieved, the priests of God bore the Ark of the Covenant ahead and stepped into the River Jordan. Alas, the miraculous happened! The water was divided and the Israelites walked on dry ground! In this month of February, we are to sanctify and consecrate ourselves more for a greater anointing, empowerment and use by the Most High. We are to rid ourselves of any impurity and guilt. God will also purge our Assembly so that miracles, signs and wonders will be a constant experience among us in Jesus name . . By Pastor Samuel Obafaiye L ESSON 1: The struggle of man began in the Garden of Eden, after man disobeyed God and God pronounced judgement on man following the sin of disobedience. Genesis 3:19 – In the sweat of thy face shall thou eat bread, till thou return in to the ground for out of it was thou taken, for dust thou art, and into dust shall thou return. It was not so in the beginning. Genesis 2:16 – And the Lord God command the man, saying of every tree of the garden, thou may freely eat. Jesus Christ picked most of His disciples where they were struggling for daily living to make both ends meet. In fact in the Old Testament, all the people God used were working either in the farm tilling ground, or in the field rearing animal. Moses was looking after his father in law (Jethro) cattle, David was looking after his father’s sheep; Saul was searching for his father’s lost Donkey. Elisha son of Shaphat was ploughing ground when Elijah found him. Jesus Christ does not condone laziness, He cherish hard working people. As a matter of fact, who ever want to be His disciple must be hard working. However, each time Peter, John and James feature in the bible (of course before they received power) in connection with their profession (fishing) it was always with struggling. For instance, in Luke 5: 4-6, They fished all night without catching any fish. Yet at each point, miracle and wonders happened in their lives. (As it will happen in the life of some one here today). Why did it happen? Simple obedience without questioning, reasoning or arguing. After the death of Jesus Christ, why did they go back fishing even when they have been told they will be fishers of men? That is what usually happen when boredom replaces zeal. Sometimes God allows us to struggle in order to teach us that – planning, budgeting, figuring things out, our skills can fail us, our expertee, many degrees, our exposures, best practices can still fail us. It can only be solve by one way Ecl 9; 11. NLT. If you don’t believe fastest runner does not always win the race- go and ask Elijah and King Ahab. If you doubt strongest doesn’t always win the battle, go and ask David and Goliath. If you are not sure the skilful people are not necessarily wealthy, go and ask Obededom – who became the richest man in the city with in a space of three months without toiling or struggling. This not to say that it is not good or needful to plan, budget, work hard or be skilful- BUT ALWAYS GIVE GOD PRIORITY IN ALL WHAT YOU DO. - Proverb 23:4 NLT. Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich, be wise enough to know when to quit. Sometimes extra hours of work (over time) continue picking up agency work every Sunday will give nothing but high blood pressure. Worries and fear of if I don’t do it I would not be able to pay my bills. On the other hand, may be you are thinking of quitting and throwing in the tower or about to give up because what worked for you in the past is not working now. God is an interceptor, (just as He is the intercessor). When the enemy wants to throw arrow at you, He will intercept it (Modecai is a living witness) Any weapon formed against you (not weapon enemy may form, they are already formed). But the good news is that they will not prosper. Lesson to learn – In your struggle, futility of your effort – Jesus is closer to you than you ever think. John 21: 4, Genesis 28:15-16, Psalm 30:5. Your own struggle may be job, paper in the home office, sickness, problem with your course work etc. Jesus is closer to you than you think. Mathew 14: 26. The disciples saw Jesus walking on the sea, but they thought He was spirit. John 21:4 – Jesus stood on the shore the disciples did not know and could not recognise him. Jesus was there near them, but they could not see him, they fail to remember him in their struggles. Many of us are so much occupied with our job, vocation, or even pleasure that we fail to remember the existence of the only one who can help us out. Jesus knew and saw us when we were struggling, being ridiculed, humiliated, or even mocked. He does not need to jump in to our struggle to bring us out of them. All He needs to do is to speak the word. All we need to do is to keep the word – Palm 119: 67. The centurion said, speak a word and my servant will be whole. Peter said we have toiled all night, but at your word: . Genesis 28: 15 -16 Jacob said, God is here and I knew not. - John 21: 5 – children, have you any meat? John 6: 1-6 was about how Jesus fed 5000 people. In verse 5, Jesus said to the disciple (Philip) where shall we buy bread that these people may eat. Ezekiel 37 (Valley of dry bone) – God asked Ezekiel, can these dry bone live? Sometimes teachers ask question from students, not that they don’t know the answer but they just want to know how much the students know. Jesus asked the disciples questions not that He didn’t know what to do, but to test their faith. Confessions precede deliverance. He’s only asking you whether you want him to do what He only can do. - Luke 5:2 the disciples were washing their net in the morning, they have admitted defeat preparing to go home. The enemy may plant tier but they cannot uproot the wheat, they can form the weapon but it will not prosper, they can delay but they cannot denied. What you cannot accomplish all night (Your own night may be days, weeks, months or years) God can accomplish it for you within seconds, just ask Him to speak the word and key to into it. Lesson to learn: When you are at your lowest point, when everything seems to have failed, you are closer to your winning than you think. (1). God whatever does not conform with your image in my life, die in Jesus name. (2). I will not drink water of affliction in Jesus name (3). The vehicle/plane of my destiny will not crash land in Jesus name. Excerpts of a sermon delivered by Minister Gabriel Adunmade on 10th February 2013. May God be gracious to you all; bless you and make His face to shine upon you all in Jesus name.

CleansingCleansingDivineDivineFEBRUARY 2013 THEME

IN this month of Divine Cleansing, God asked me to tell someone that He will polish your life clean. Your life will come out shining as gold. Gold in its natural state is not very good to look at. It doesn't look much desirable. This

is because it contains other elements as iron, silver, copper, platinum, cadmium, etc. These are called impurities whether they are of value or not. May God remove every impurities and unwanted elements from your life in Jesus name. For the desired gold to come out, the original gold has to pass through fire, hammering, pounding, etc. These processes will remove the impurities and bring out the beauty and brightness of gold.May God's desired state be made visible in your life. May you go through your purification process without hurt in Jesus name.Someone asked a goldsmith that when he knows when to stop applying fire to the gold, so it doesn't become liquid. The goldsmith said when I see my reflection in the gold.We were made in the image and likeness of God from the beginning. When Adam and Eve fell, that image and likeness was misconfigured. So, when we surrender our lives to God, it is the intention of God to restore His initial image and likeness in us. This will come through Divine cleansing.May the reflection of God be seeing in you always. May your life mirror the image of the Almighty.Psalm 66:10-12: 10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. 11 Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins. 12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. This was a time of testing or trial for David. He went through what he could call enemies’ net, affliction, oppression, fire and water. The good news was that God brought him out. David hid in caves, suffered in wilderness, play a mad fellow to stay alive, compel to eat the bread meant for priests to survive, etc. In the end, he sat on the throne of Israel! Are you been proved in anyway? Are you going through any sort of trial? Are you been walked over by men? Could you be passing through any fire or water of life? I have good news for you. God will bring you into a wealthy place. Your present trials will come to an end. Those that were walking over you will begin to walk under you.In Daniel chapter 3:1-30, the bible tells us about the three Hebrew men that went into the fire as gold. As they were been bound destined for fire, all onlookers were so sorry for them. The king accorded them a small regard by making a dialogue with them. When they came out of the fire, it was a different story. The king himself bowed to them. He decreed that anyone that would speak against their God be cut in pieces and their house turned into a dung hill. He then promoted the three of them. I believe that from that time on, a lot of people will see them as gods! People that threw them in the fire were killed by the tongues and heat of the flames. But they that went in came out alive, by themselves! You are coming out of any fire freely and without hurt in Jesus name. I careless whether it's hot three times or seven times. You will still come out. Those that are seeking your end will bow to you. Illness will bow. Poverty will bow. Failures will bow. Enemies will bow. You will be promoted in Jesus name. Your shining may be a little now, but it will grow bigger and brighter in Jesus name.Someone is here God says you are going through a challenging process. He said I should tell you that the end of that process is sparkling. As children of God, we are bound to go through some hard times. One thing we ought to remember is that He said He will be with us (Isaiah 43:1-2).Isaiah 43:1-2 1 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.'Fear not! God has redeemed you! Fire will not burn you. Water will not overflow you in anyway. People will not smell the negative impact of the fire on you in Jesus name.At a point in Moses life, he became a fugitive. He ran away from the people he loved for fear of been killed. He then began to serve his father in-law. Low estate it was! However, after he came in contact with Fire, his destiny changed from dull to bright! He was able to confront his fear and fulfilled his destiny that had lingered on. From the intimidated, he became the intimidator.May you come in contact afresh with the Fire of God today. May your destiny change from bright to brighter. Brighter to brightest in Jesus name. May courage and boldness come upon you to confront and overcome any fear threatening your destiny in Jesus name.

1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:Almighty Father, let my trials of faith lead to praise.Almighty Father, let my purification by fire lead to honour.Almighty Father, let all that I go through in life bring out your glory in me.
