A Message from President Ron Boyce

Our club continues to surge forward! Our SLP clubs are raising record

amounts of money to support children, the Aktion club raised over

$1800 For Healthy Start, Bay Haven and Surfside fund-raised funds and

diapers too! Our satellite club is already planning fund raisers. Our

Christmas auction was a great success, thank you everyone for making

it so successful and fun. Several members met Saturday and have

started the 3-year strategic plan. Our next step is to conduct a club

survey in January which Bob has taken on. We should be ready to roll

out the draft plan by the end of January. Finally, during this season let's

take time to be thankful for all our blessings. Happy Hanukkah and

Merry Christmas!

Diapers, Bids, & Meals, oh my!....

November was a busy month in Kiwanis and all the thanks go to you, the members. We began with cooking and serving a pancake breakfast for the Fall Festival at the Council on Aging. 11 members worked the early morning generating 41 service hours and helping to raise a portion of $29,000 in matching funds. The Meals on Wheels crew serve every month and this was no exception with 16 service hours delivering meals to those that are home bound. Then came the Diaper Drive concluding with

Yacht Club closing for remodeling… for the first 3 weeks in January, the Yacht Club

will be closed for some necessary renovations. But we will still meet and at the time of

printing, the location has not been selected. Have no fear, you will be notified. So, look for

something new and different on Jan. 3, 10, and 17.
