Launch into the community through missional acts of prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.

Stephen Ministry - God’s love in Action

Morning Coffee with God

As I sit in my rocking chair and share morning devotionals (4 of them), with my husband, I thought, “I am sharing my morning coffee with God, also.” He is aware of my readings, my thoughts on what I’ve read, and my preparations for the day. When the day seems daunting, it is more difficult to remember that God is always sharing my thoughts, actions, and worries. It can be difficult to “let go and let God” do the worrying. If you would like to have someone listen without trying to “fix” your concerns, and assist you to bring your stresses into focus as you seek resolution, please contact Pastor John or Cathy Van Huystee, the referral coordinators for Stephen Ministry, so that an appropriate referral can be made.

Donation Station

We continue to accept donations for Church Community Services. In September

& October, we are collecting shampoo & conditioner. We also collect

non-perishable foods year around. Thank you for supporting our community.

We have a box inside the front doors for your plastic shopping bags. They

should be clean, dry & intact. If you would like to help turn these bags into

sleeping mats for the homeless in Goshen, please contact Glenna Pletcher.

For our Faith Family Grill Out on Sept. 20, we will need hotdog buns, individually

packaged chips, bottled water, and sweet treats.

Today’s altar flowers are given by Janet Miller in Memory of Marv Miller.

Coming in September.....RESET!

Watch for class sign ups starting next week!
