A Note from Pastor Phillips:

Thank you for coming to worship with us today. If you are first-time visitor, I would sure like the opportunity to meet you and welcome you personally. Because I be-lieve in a Sovereign God, I don’t believe anything happens by chance. I believe you were brought here today for a purpose. I would love to help you discover that pur-pose, and to see if there is any way we as a church can bless and minister to you and your family. Please stop by the Resource Center after the service so I can shake your hand. I’d sure count it a privilege. Pastor Harold

EASTER PROGRAM CHOIR CHILDCARE: We are in need of volunteers to watch choir members’ children during rehearsals and performances. There are a few dates in February, several in March and a few in April. If you are willing to help, please contact Leah VanDyke at 443-875-0694. Thank you!

THANK YOU: To all the volunteers who made goodies, assembled the baskets and made the deliveries for the Cookies for Cops event. We do appreci-ate our local officers who keep us safe every day. Thank you for your service. May God Bless You!

SERVING OTHERS NURSING HOME MINISTRY: Did you know we have a Nursing Home Ministry serving at Calvert Nursing Home? We gather at Calvert the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8 p.m. to encourage the residents. If you are interested in joining this ministry, please contact Guy Long.

CREAM OF THE CROP SENIOR LUNCHEON: If you are over 55 years old or older, and have signed up for the Senior Luncheon, meet us at 12:30 p.m. today in the Youth Center for a delicious meal prepared for you by the Ladies Ministry.

DEAR CHURCH FAMILY: We want to thank the greatest Physician that walked this earth. We also want to thank all those we prayed for us during Ed’s heart surgery, and for the visits and cards. It touched our hearts. Della & Ed Wojcicki

PVBC ORCHESTRA: If you play a musical instrument and would be interested in praising the Lord through music during PVBC services, please call Wendy Falko at 443-695-1610. If there is enough interest, the orchestra will be formed and rehearsals will be scheduled.

BABY BOTTLE DRIVE: Thank you to everyone who filled a baby bottle with donations for the Cecil Pregnancy and Family Resource Center. As of last

Sunday, 74 bottles were returned. Thank you for your generosity!

It’s our privilege to serve our Church family. Thank you!

Setting an example

This is Wally. Why is Wally so GRUMPY? Wally is grumpy because he had his Thursday morning coffee ALONE instead of coming out to our Senior Coffee Corner!

If you are 50 years & older: Come enjoy hot coffee, yummy donuts and lively conversation every Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. in our lovely coffee room here at the church.

Don’t sit home alone and have your cup of joe.

Don’t be a Wally!

(If your name is Wally, we apologize.)

Annual Tea & Auction

Tickets are selling fast for the Seventh Annual Afternoon Tea and live auction to benefit Alpha’s Glory Pregnancy Resource Center. The event takes place Saturday, April 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. at St. Paul’s Evan-gelical Lutheran Church (201 Mt. Royal Avenue, Aberdeen, MD).

You will experience a traditional high tea including soup, scones, sa-vories and sweets, followed by the excitement of a live auction as you bid on prime items to help support the parents and babies who come to the Pregnancy Center.

For tickets, go to https://www.agcpc.org/ and click on the Events link at the right.

SHIPPING CONTAINER FUNDRAISER Our Draped in Grace ministry has been so blessed by donations. Thank you! We have distributed thousands of articles of clothing to those in need, and are humbled by how the Lord is using this ministry.

Currently, we are housing the racks, bins and clothing in a trailer on our church grounds. The trailer is leaking in several areas, jeopardiz-ing the condition of the donations. We have been given permission to raise funds to purchase a shipping container, which would be weather-proof. We need to raise at least a few thousand dollars to purchase one. If you are willing to donate to Draped in Grace to help us achieve this goal, please make a donation to PVBC with Draped in Grace Con-tainer in the memo area.

If you have any questions, please see Heather Adam, Gale Thompson, Ceda Bush, Theresa Wright or Gayle Leubecker. Thank you!
