VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

June 11 -15

8:00 a.m. to Noon

This event is for children

going into kindergarten through 6th grade. (3 & 4 year-old classes are for DABC members only)

VBS Work Day: Tuesday, June 5 (Nursery available from 9:00 a.m. to Noon)

VBS Blitz: Wednesday, June 6 As part of our Wednesday evening activ-ities, we will distribute VBS door hang-ers to homes and apartments in the

immediate area of the church.

VBS Block Party: Saturday, June 9 From 10:00 a.m. until noon, we will have refreshments, games and in-

flatables for the children. Servants are needed to help with this event.

VBS Prayer Walk: Sunday, June 10 At the conclusion of the evening worship service. Participants will have the opportunity to go to the

areas where the children will be learn-ing about Jesus and to pray for the

leaders and children.

TIME TO READ SUMMER READING CLUB June 10 — August 5

This activity is for readers of all ages. Please sign up with the media center. Awards will be presented on Sunday,

August 12 to children who participate in the program.

Ecuador: The mission tr ip to Ecuador which takes place June 22-29. Also, we need just a few donations for the trip. We need safety pins, hair ties, bandanas and needles and thread. Please place these items in the container labeled Ecuador in the mall area.

Christian Men’s Job Corp: The Chr istian Men’s Job Corp is utilizing the Lee House for their ministry.
