MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH: DBI - ISAAC SHAW - Isaac Shaw is the

administrator of Delhi Bible Institute (DBI) who spoke here recently and related

that on average a Christian is martyred once a day in India. The President of

India mocked Christianity saying the “For 2000 years Christians have declared

that ‘There is one God and that is Jesus.’” This Christian message did not please

him! He said that it implies that our Hindu Gods are not God. Please pray for

the purchasing & establishment of new centers in Jammu, Patna, Bhopal,

Chhattisgarh and office in North East and South India; for the expansion of

Jaipur Anugrah Ashram so they can impact more in Rajasthan; pray for the

projects to help the poor, and for existing material in Hindi to be widely used.

Pray for DBI and all the teams to be protected from all the laws that are being

brought by the government and for wisdom as to how we handle our affairs

before the government. (See additional updated information on the Missionary

American Red Cross Blood Drive - Cornerstone is once again hosting the Red

Cross Blood Drive on August 25 from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Your donation of blood can and will make a difference in someone's life. You

can register/make an appointment online (easy) at

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is in need of TWO teachers this fall and

Spring. Pre-School and Kindergarten. 6 Friday's in the Fall and 7 in the Spring.

All the curriculum is provided. These are paid positions. Youth Helpers are also

From the Cornerstone Sound Team - The sound team is looking for 4 - 6

people. Stop by the sound board after church and speak with Chris Neale

or Brian Wheeler.

Urban Promise is in the process of hiring a teacher for either our 2nd

or 3rd grade class. If you are, or know of someone with a teaching

Special Congregation Meeting, Sunday, August 13 - This meeting will take

place 10 minutes following the Worship Service for the purpose of electing

Pastor David Phillips for the position of Associate Pastor of Cornerstone. An
