Concentration accuracy

- Rat heart Total RNA (in water) was run in 5 different concentrations (2x each per chip) on 12 replicate chips (6 instruments x 2 different chip lots) – All samples (and Ladder) were pipetted individually as with standard protocol.

SW update and assay download

Prerequisites to use the Series II RNA kits:

• 2100 expert software B.01.02 or B.02.02 must be installed

• New RNA assays and firmware needs to be installed, use Assay Update

• Assay Update patch can be downloaded free of charge or requested on CD (fax return form included in every kit)

Three options for software updates available:

• For biosizing users, free of charge update to the intro version of the 2100 bioanalyzer expert SW (Revision B.01.02)

• For B.02.01 users, the upgrade to B.02.02 is FREE of charge

• For all other users (i.e. beta versions), an update to the most current 2100 bioanalyzer expert SW (Revision B.02.02) for a minimal fee is recommended (order G2946CA)
