What is a Circuit
• A circuit is an electrical device that provides a path for electrical currents to flow.
• A path in a circuit is sometimes called a branch.

Series Circuits
• A series circuit is an electric circuit that has only one path for currents to flow.
• The current in a series circuit is the same at all points in the circuit.

Parallel Circuits
• A parallel circuit is an electric circuit with more than one path or branch.
• The current given off by the battery in a parallel circuit splits at one or more branch points.

Breaks In Circuits
• If there is a break in the circuit the current will stop to flow.
