Dear friends and donors, Charity organization Serbs for Serbs registered in the state of Illinois in United States in Jun 2010 by the group of the Serbian youth. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization. Donation is tax-deductible to the extent followed by the law. On 30th September, 2011 we finally got the letter from department of the treasury (IRS) with tax exempt 501(c)3 approval. All donations to our organization donated from June 16, 2010 are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers of gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.

About Us

The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Americans, Serbs and their friends through planned projects, social and humanitarian activities in order to develop and foster better society for future generations and provide aid for underprivileged families in need. Although there are many humanitarian organizations and associations, help often doesn't reach the most jeopardized. Due to unnecessary administration, missing information and slow decision making, the delivery of aid arrives too late to the final consumers, or not at all. It is a sad and embarrassing, but true fact that more than 18.000 children daily die around the world because of starvation and malnutrition. There, among us, the blind and deaf. We are witnesses of the bad demographic situation of our nation, decreasing natality, increasing number of singles, abortions, accelerated aging of

the population and generally bad economic condition of the households in Serbia, Republic of Srpska and other countries in the Balkan. An average couple has "fallen" on one child. Analysts warn that Serbs will become a minority in its own country in the following century if the nation, individuals and government don't wake up from the nescient in which they've fallen! On the other hand, nobody is talking about the families with many children which grieve by living in bitter poverty. Occupied by their everyday struggle for survival, they are being humbly in their desire for implementing rights which belong to them. Their life stories, fears and problems are identical, but almost invisible and unheard in order to gain the attention of the public, media and even state. That's why the idea of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs arose. The organization was formed by a group of young and trustful people, who are united by the common vision of helping families blessed by many children and who are aware of the fact that even a small help means a lot for those who don't live in a material excess. We are united by the humane idea to help the poorest part of the Serbian nation. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs try to revive the spiritless energy of the Serbian Diaspora which would be able to reinforce people of Serbian heritage as well as all good people throughout the world with minimal, but constant monthly donations. We hope and believe that there is also a grain of doing well and that you will join us in the endless struggle against poverty. God bless and save all Serbian families with many children and our honored donors who participate in the noble effort to return smile on children faces.

CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE!

Ambitions

Our mission The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Serbian people through our projects and humanitarian activities, in order to develop better society for future generations.

Why Serbs for Serbs? We wanted to alleviate impaired spirit of Serbian people in togetherness and brotherhood help through humanitarian work and social aid.

Who do we help? We help Serbian families who live in the Balkans, have five or more children and live in terrible poverty. Under terrible poverty we define absence of one or more basic factors required for living: food, clothes, shoes, and safe space for living.

Why do we help? We believe that there is a basic need for one human (or a group) to help others in distress. A help is not only human virtue but also a Christian responsibility. By focusing our help on families with many children, we directly affect on their stirring toward becoming independent from social-dependable government programs.

What are our long term goals? • family is ready to support itself daily and

manage to pay all required expenses;

• their children are encouraged to continue with school and raising their own family;

• our donors are satisfied with the activities and they are ready to help other families;

• our organization is satisfied with the results;

• family is ready in the future to become our donor and if necessary help other families that are in need of help.

Who do we need in organization? We need members and donors that will secure financial stability through supporting our programs and activities in the future. Donors may join our daily activities within the organization in order to coordinate our work better. We also need volunteers ready to donate several hours per week for actual work within the organization. Activities of volunteers and their specific tasks would be determined by the required projects and their personal interest. From that group of volunteers we would look for future leaders of organization.

SFS VISITED FAMILIES NEAR BELGRADE

Memebers of charity organization SFS with one of the

visited family

On Sunday, March 29, members of the Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS visited the multiple children Jankovic and Menicanin families, which live in the territory of Mladenovac Municipality. The Jankovic family from the village of Mladenovac consists of the parents, Dragan and Jelena and their five children: Stefan (13), Robert (11), Uros (7), Viktor (4), and Novak (2). Members of the Menicanin family from the village of Sepsin are the parents, Zoran and Natasa, who also have five children: Mihajlo (12), Milica (10), Andjela (8), Dimitrije (6) and Djordje (4).

Uros, Viktor and Novak

First we visit the nine-member Jankovic family, which lives in the village of Mladenovac.

Beside the parents and their five children, members of the family are also the grandparents. In a shabby and unfinished house, the Jankovic family barely manages to make ends meet. Since both parents are unemployed, they provide for the family by working for a day wage and receiving child benefit.

They cultivate a small amount of land in their yard and thus at least provide the necessary food for the children.

In agreement with the Jankovic family, we plan on providing them with two sofas, a big wardrobe and an electric stove. We say goodbye to the Jankovic family and head towards the Menicanin family.

In the village of Sepsin, we visit the seven-member Menicanin family. A very hardworking and diligent family, which we saw at first hand, is now struggling to survive, because the father lost his job at a toll booth and then had to sell everything they had been acquiring for years in order to support the children.

Currently, Zoran is employed as a barbecue chef in Belgrade and he also keeps several pigs and decorative chickens, and thus is trying to earn some extra money for his family.

laying business

Since they wish to re-engage in agriculture, and have a big building for keeping animals, we agreed on providing them with 300 laying hens, and the necessary equipment for the future egg laying farm in the form of battery cages.

The Charity organization SERBS FOR SESRBS calls upon all friends and donors of the organization from the Republic of Srpska to join our fundraising action to help this family and other socially disadvantaged Serbian families with multiple children. SERBS FOR SERBS

FOAL FOR STANKOVIC FAMILY FROM STRPCE

At the beginning of April, the Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS helped the five-member Stankovic family from the village of Vrbestica in Strpce Municipality in Kosovo and Metohija. The aid consisted of purchasing a foal, and when it grows, it will be of great help to the Stankovic family in agricultural activities. Members of the family are the parents, Zoran and Julijana and their three sons: Nebojsa (17), Nenad (14), and Nikola (11). The value of the foal was 61,000 RSD. We thank our friends from the Visoki Decani Monastery, who delivered the foal directly to the Stankovic family.

SUCCESSFUL EASTER ACTION IN KOSMET

The Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS, in cooperation and with great help of the friends from EHO “Majka devet Jugovica”, from Gracanica, delivered big aid for 11 Serbian families in Kosovo and Metohija, for the biggest Christian holiday, Easter. 55 sheep and 22 lambs, in the total value of 800,000 RSD, were distributed to the families. For the first time, the animals were bought in the Diocesan sheep and goat farm in Novo Brdo, opened at the end of 2013, and run by the organization “Majka devet Jugovica”. Funds earned from selling the sheep will be directed towards new projects of agricultural production in the municipality of Novo Brdo. The organization SERBS FOR SERBS will certainly continue to carry out this and similar projects, primarily in cooperation with EHO “Majka devet Jugovica”, as well as with other fraternal charity organizations worldwide, which aim at making socially disadvantaged families financially independent by creating possibilities for work, production and selling of agricultural products in Kosovo and Metohija. Each family received a donation of 5 sheep and 2 lambs, and the following is a list of the families together with the photo report: The village of Rajanovce 1. SFS VISITED LAZAREVIC FAMILY FROM OZREN

Last weekend, members of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs visited the nine-member Lazarevic family from the hamlet of Okoliste on Ozren Mountain, Doboj Municipality, in the Republic of Srpska. The Lazarevic household consists of the mother, Milenka (49), her daughter Vedrana (8) and son Sladjan (30), who is married to Ruzica (25), and they have five children: Zeljko (10), Bojana (9), Zeljana (7), Slavica (5) and Darko (2).

The Lazarevic family is engaged in agriculture and that is how they provide food for the children. At the moment, things they need the most are: several pigs, a cow, stove for the children’s room, clothes, footwear, and school supplies for the children.

The Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS calls upon all friends and donors of the organization to join our fundraising action to help this family and other socially disadvantaged Serbian families with multiple children. CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE!

SFS HELPED PERIC FAMILY NEAR ZVORNIK

The Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS helped the seven-member Peric family, situated in the village of Zelinje, 20 kilometers from Zvornik in the Republic of Srpska. The father, Nenad Peric, lives with his mother Zagorka and his wife Slavica, and they have four children: Marko (13), Darko (12), Mihajlo (5) and Milica (4). They live in the old family house, which Nenad inherited from his late father. The aid consisted of providing them with front door and windows, in the total amount of 1,017.50 BAM.

Darko is the son who has a serious skin disease. The house they live in has several rooms: two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a toilet. There is no floor in the living room, but bare ground under the carpet. Other rooms have floors which are old and worn out. The outward appearance of the house is disastrous, with old windows and walls which cracked due to detonations during the war.

Mihajlo, the youngest son in the Peric family

It was the drafty windows that were the biggest problem for the family. They let in cold air and there was no way to heat the house. The family lives on 105 BAM of child benefit and 90 BAM they receive for their diseased son, Darko.

Nenad was employed up to the age of 25, when he had a stroke, which left him unable to do any kind of physical work. Slavica used to work in Zvornik, but when the financial crisis hit, she lost her job. In order to provide food, the Peric family is engaged in subsistence agriculture and this year they have started growing potatoes, salad and peppers.

Marko Peric prepared a short concert for us

Marko, Darko, Mihajlo and MIlica Peric with the door

and windows

After the first visit to the family, we decided to bring them the food package, which made them very happy. The grandmother, Zagorka, told us that they had been borrowing flour from neighbors for days and she cordially thanked us for helping them out. We also decided to solve the biggest problem of the Peric family, so we bought them the front door and windows in the nearby factory. The Peric family wishes to thank all donors and the Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS, who enabled them to live in a lot warmer home. We felt their deep gratitude – they warmly welcomed us and later said goodbye to us with smiles and tears of joy on their faces.

AID REACHED RADANKOVIC FAMILY

On Wednesday, April 15, the Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS and the Association of women from Serbia and Russia MATRONA visited and helped the family Radankovic. Member of Radankovic family are perents Milan and Snjezana from Ljubovija, who were blessed with four children: Valentina (17), Ruzica (9), Milica (7) and Vasilija (3). The Charity organization Serbs for Serbs provided the family with a big and comfortable sofa, which can turn into a bed, worth 34,650 RSD. And the Association of women from Serbia and Russia Matrona brought them food and hygiene packages, and also clothes that the girls need.

Aid provided by the Association of women from Serbia

and Russia Matrona

The Radankovic family lives in a house which is full of mold, their beds are worn out, and the youngest child, Vasilija, suffers from rickets, arthritis and short bowel syndrome. The father is employed, and the mother takes care of Vasilija and other children. They live frugally on the father’s small salary, and they receive 19,000 RSD of allowance for assistance and care by another person and minimum welfare of 9,500 RSD. They need 50,000 RSD a month only for Vasilija’s medications and food!

This is just the beginning of helping this family. Vasilija’s diet and expensive medications determine the lives of all family members and dictate their modest budget.

Things she needs every day are: Milupa 7 lactose free milk formulas, no milk cereal, Juvitana salty baby food without peas, juices without pears, plums and apples, Prolom bottled water, Plazma biscuit, salty sticks, Fish snack crackers, dark chocolate and puddings.

Medications she needs are: ”Probiokid imuno,” “Linex baby,” “Multilac,” “Pektin” capsules, “Pikovit Omega 3” and “Fantomalt.”

Little Vasilija Radankovic

The Charity organization Serbs for Serbs and the Association of women from Serbia and Russia Matrona invite all people who are in a position to help the Radankovic family and little Vasilija to get involved, so we can try in every way possible to help make these young lives easier and better and little Vasilija to overcome her health problems. Their parents are diligent and hardworking people, but they have a hard battle to fight, and in order to win, they need all of us!

Be a part of this action! Let’s help the Radankovic family!

VISITING MILICEVIC FAMILY FROM UZICE

In mid-April, we visited the nine-member Milicevic family from the village of Dreznik, Uzice Municipality. The grandmother, Zorka, lives with her nephew Zoran and his wife Mirjana, who have six children (in the photo, left to right): Marina (12), Mirko (4.5 months old), Marko (14), Milomir (4), Milica (10), and Milan (8). Since both parents are unemployed, the father, Zoran, provides for the family by working for a daily wage wherever he can find work to do. As part of the “Trojka iz bloka” project, which will be held for the first time in Uzice, on April 30, at 1 p.m., in the Big Park, the plan is to provide the Milicevic family with a new bathroom to ensure the youngest family members grow up healthier and happier.

Zoran and Mirjana have a lot of problems, but they do not lack love and happiness. Their problems are of the financial and existential nature. These good people barely manage to make ends meet with the minimum welfare of 15,000 RSD and without child benefit, and since the other day, also without the electricity. Past unpaid bills, including the ones that are huge and inconceivable for a rural household, led to electricity cutoff. The Milicevic family now lives in the dark and without water supply, and the six children only see the light in their good parents, who work hard from sunrise to late night, working for a daily wage throughout the Uzice region.

Zoran Milicevic, one of the forgotten heroes from

Kosare

The children are excellent students at school, and their house is full of diplomas and successes sprung from the family wing of love and warmth. The grandmother, Zorka, is almost ninety years old, but God gave her good voice, eyesight and reason, so she takes care of the children while their parents are away from home. She tells them stories and amuses them, as much as she can. And the children let us on that they also tell her stories. These good people are fighting their problems every day and do not let themselves despond. Together, they have tilled the field in front of their house after 15 years… Up to 2006, Zoran had a job, and when he lost it, their serious problems started. Several employers never paid him salaries or contributions, but Zoran is used to it and does not complain about anyone. At the age of twenty, he spent 16 months in the war in Kosovo and Metohija, in 1998 and 1999. He survived the attack on the Kosare blockhouse, and came back to his village with two pieces of shrapnel in his shoulder, and without any military honors, let alone wages or compensation. Up to the present day, everything he has, he has acquired with his two hands and he continues to believe in nothing but them.

Bathroom “entry”

The Charity organization “Serbs for Serbs” has existed since 2005 and has been helping socially disadvantaged multiple children families throughout the Balkans. The sports-charity “Trojka iz bloka” project was first held in 2012 in block 23 in Novi Beograd. The project has been supported by the Basketball Federation of Serbia, Partizan and Red Star Basketball Clubs, as well as other personalities from the fields of sports, art and education. Now, together with the esteemed sponsors, they are all inviting you to show the Milicevic family that they are not alone, and to help them and try to make their hard lives at least a bit easier. For a start, let’s change these unpleasant scenes.

All participants of the tournament will feel rewarded when these sights become better and prettier. The best three shooters will get medals and prize flying in the aircraft of the Uzice Aero Club, and also tickets for the City pool!

Those who are going to be in charge of great atmosphere at the tournament are the well known Belgrade rap groups Sick Touch, Zvezde Grajma and FTP, who are going to perform between the first part of the tournament and the finals, and in their unique way give support to the tournament and the Milicevic family. Be a part of Trojka iz bloka! See you in the Big Park on April 30!

AID FOR JANCIC FAMILY FROM HERCEG NOVI

In April, the Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS helped the multiple children Jancic family from the village of Suscepan, Herceg Novi in Montenegro. Members of the Jancic family are the single father, Ivan, his children: Nemanja (10), Milica (9), Mirjana (8), Vasilije (6) and the grandmother, Radica. Ivan works for a daily wage in the construction industry when there is work to do. The grandmother, Radica, is the only one helping him to raise his children. We helped them by buying footwear for the children, food and hygiene products in the total value of 375 euros.

Mirjana, Milica and Vasilije Jancic

The Jancic family lives in extremely tough financial conditions, especially after 2011, when the children’s mother abandoned them and terminated all contact with the family.

The Jancic family members are tenants in the village of Suscepan in Herceg Novi and all of them live in one room. They pay off the rent in the way that the father, Ivan, does all kinds of physical work for the landlord and they do not have any other income, except for their father’s daily wages.

Due to lack of finances, their biggest problem is making regular monthly payments to the state, i.e., paying electricity and water bills. This problem requires urgent solution, given the fact that their current water and electricity debts are more than 1,000 euro’s.

The oldest child, Nemanja Jancic

All members of the Jancic family are citizens of the Republic of Serbia. Three children go to primary school, and all four of them attend RE and the Divine Liturgy at St Stefan Church in Suscepan. The children are polite and well brought up. The Parish Three of Herceg Novi makes constant efforts to provide some aid for the Jancic family.

EASTER SFS ACTION IN KRAJINA

Thanks to the donors of the Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS and all those who follow and support the work of the organization, at the end of April, the biggest action in Krajina was finished successfully. 29 families were helped and the value of the aid was over 35,000 Euros! We also owe big gratitude to the priesthood of the Dalmatia and Upper Karlovac Dioceses of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

We started our three-day journey in Dalmatia, where we helped 15 families. First we went to the primary school in Zegar and played football with the nine children currently attending the school, and there were about 900 of them before the war.

Soon after we left Zegar, we arrived in the village of Orlic, where we visited the four-member family, consisting of Zoran Cetnik and Ratka Bjelan, and the children, Ratko (10), from Ratka’s first marriage, and Ilijana (9 months old). We provided this family with a sofa bed, a stove with several kitchen cabinets and a grass trimmer.

Near Petrinje, in the village of Pastosa, we visited the Vrga family, consisting of the parents, Dejan and Zorica, and their children, Tea (9) and Denis (1). They shared their interesting and tragic story with us. The grandfather of this family switched to Adventists. With members of his sect, he tried to recruit his son (the father of this family) and once they even made the son remove their Patron Saint’s icon off the wall, which the man refused. That is why this man, together with his family, left the family house and moved to Petrinja. These parts of the country (Kostajnica, Dvor, Petrinja...) are full of sects that are constantly recruiting our poor people, attracting them by buying agricultural machines, construction material and other necessities. In order to help this man remain with his family in their new home, without the help of his father, we bought them a Holstein cow, which gives over 15 liters of milk a day. This will help the family a lot.

The Borojevic family from Mecencani consists of only two members, the single mother Drena, and her daughter, Andjela (12). We bought them a couch.

The next family we visited in the village of Komogovina is the Sestic family, consisting of the parents, Djuka and Ljubica, and the children, Milica (11), Milos (9) and Radovan (7). We helped them by buying the construction material and sanitary ware.

In the vicinity of Glina, in the village of Drenovac, we helped the Arbutina family, consisting of the parents, Zoran and Ljiljana, and their children, Sara (10), Patra (8), Martina (2) and Nikolina (2). They were provided with the construction material and material for central heating installation. They live in hard conditions, and, in addition, Nikolina has health problems and still has not started to walk. She should do some exercises which would help her, but she cannot go to the facility to do them, because there is no road.

The Arbutina family

Although 20 years have passed since the war ended in this area, the traces of the pogrom are still fresh and visible. Burned and abandoned houses, empty villages once full of life and demolished churches continue to be an open sore of the people who used to live in Krajina, but also of all of us. Still, in spite of everything, the Serbs who now live in this area do not lack a wish to work and survive. That is why we bear the name of Serbs for Serbs and we will always be there for our people!

On Monday, April 13, 2015, at noon sharp, one of the most successful “Trojka iz bloka” tournaments started in Kraljevo at the open sports courts on the bank of the river Ibar. A large number of people gathered on this beautiful day of the most joyous Easter holiday and the egg tapping contest started immediately.

And incredibly, 163 contestants entered for the Three-Point Shooting Tournament and 91,160 RSD was raised. Having such a huge response, Kraljevo tournament has stood side by side with the last year’s tournament held at Kalemegdan Fortress, which is considered to be the most successful.
