FAMILY THEATRESunday 10th November at 4pm Recommended for 8+(Doors open 3.30pm)The Pantaloons are performing every single one of the 24 Canterbury Tales in a different theatrical style. Audiences can expect pantomime, puppetry, masks, musicals, mime, farce, reality television, horror and opera. Even Shakespeare gets a look-in.

The play follows a group of pilgrims who decide to hold a story-telling contest on the road from Southwark to the shrine of St Thomas Beckett in Canterbury. Their stories include old favourites such as 'boy meets girl', and 'talking chicken meets fox'.

Like Chaucer's rude original, the show promises plenty of bawdy fun but this family friendly adaptation has something for everyone.

"We try to include something for everyone. Children will love these tales as much as they ever have", says producer Mark Hayward, "particularly the more horrible elements."
