NFL game! This is going t obe so mu ch fun!

I am eleven years old. Thank you for giving me Chargers tickets.I love to watch football and Im a big Chargers fan. I have neverbeen to a football game before. I am very excited to go see them

    in real life.

Thanks to many wonderful donors, the San Diego Armed ServicesYMCA distributed 300 Chargers tickets for the September1st game!

On Thursday, August 11th, the halftime show at theChargers 23rd Annual Salute to the Military was extra

special for fifteen wounded warriors. They stood proudly inthe middle of the field as the band played quietly in thebackground and the crowd stood to honor them. The camera panned across each combat injured service memberwhile each service members biography was read. While it

is impossible to summarize the stories of these woundedheroes in a few lines, at least we were given the chance to

recognize and honor their service and sacrifice.

Serving 9,000 active-dutyjunior enlisted mil itary service

    members and their families

    each month!

excitement this summer, as 113military children enjoyed ridingthe waves at YMCA Camp Surfand exploring the hidden trailsof Bright Valley Farms Horse-back Riding.Check out our special summeredition SnapShot to see all the

The San Diego Armed Services YMCA has sent over 100 mili-tary families to Sunday home games through the AaronsAces Program. Each family receives a Padres t-shirt, goodiebags, parking passes, and tickets to a game, and enjoys anexciting meet and greet session on the field with the play-ers! This wonderful program started by Aaron and JenniferHarang shows appreciation to our San Diego military andprovides great opportunities for family bonding.
