Hey Circle K’ers and prospective members! I am Patrick Walters your president for the Circle K year 2012-2013. It is indeed my pleasure to welcome you to the International University of the Caribbean Central Campus Circle K. Circle K International is just one part of the Kiwanis family. Developing and maintaining good relationships between each branch of the Kiwanis family as it is popularly known should be one primary objective of each Circle K’er. I believe that circle k is one that shapes and creates leaders through service and with the use of three (3) F’s, fun, food and fellowship, we will be better able to create that high sound public individual. I look forward to working with you to help me develop this Circle K Club of IUC. I leave you with the motto "LIVE TO SERVE, LOOOOOOVE TO SERVE”. Join Us!

Circle k International is a service organisation formed

to help the community through various service projects.

It’s a part of an umbrella of organisations led by the

Kiwanis International. Circle K International also aims

to build friendship and create leaders within the

membership.

In April 2012, the Circle K club was organized by our

chartering president, Patrick Walters and with the

assistance of then International Representative Lincois

Ewers. The move was in bid to provide college students

with leadership opportunities for their career and work

service projects to better their communities while

having a sense of fellowship.

On July 11, 2012, the International University of the

Caribbean, Central Campus Circle K club was officially

chartered with the Kiwanis Club of Downtown

Kingston being its sponsoring Kiwanis club. The

chartering ceremony was held in accordance with its

mandate on September 25, 2012, seeing thirty eight (38)

members inducted including the executive board for the

Circle K year 2012-2013.

As members, “we pledged to uphold the objects of

Circle K International, to foster compassion and good

will through service and leadership, to develop the

abilities of all people, and to dedicate ourselves to the

realization of mankind potential”.
