The Reel Story September 29 DVD 135 minutes This film focuses on Bessie Smith’s transformation from a struggling young singer into “The Empress of the Blues” and one of the most successful recording artists of the 1920s. Starring Queen Latifah. (2015) Wednesdays 12 pm Light Literary Lunch Club September 2 “Click-clack the Rattlebag” by Neil Gaiman Do you love literature but don’t have much time to enjoy it? Bring a lunch and join the discussion of a short story. Light refreshments are provided. Second Wednesday Meditation Group September 9 Doors open at noon, close at 12:15 pm. Sessions last 35 minutes.
