Healthy Tip Of The Week! Cut down on saturated fat and sugar

Although we need some fat in our diet (to provide the essential fatty acids and aid the absorption of the fat solu-

ble vitamins A, D, E and K), too much fat may lead to weight gain, as fat provides 9 calories per gram, more than double that from carbohydrates and protein.

Replace saturated fats from butter, lard, pastries, cream, pies and cheese (which can increase your blood cholesterol

levels) with unsaturated fats found in vegetable oils, nuts, seeds, oily fish and avocados.

Too much sugar, especially between meals can increase risk of tooth decay and will add extra calories so limit your added sugar intake! If you get a sweet craving try having fruit instead, helping you to achieve your 5-a-day!

One of our route sales people Eric S Parbel –Grandville will be exhibiting

his art work during Grand Rapid’s prestigious Art Prize.

Eric S. Parbel will be unveiling 20+

recent oil paintings at the City of Grand Rapids Water Building, in

conjunction with this year's Artprize event. Eric is a graduate of the Minne-

apolis College of Art and Design, a former instructor in the continuing studies department of the Kendall College of Art and Design, and the

New School Academy of Fine Art. Also he has been selected to participate in a

pop up gallery installation at The Riverfront Hotel in Grand Rapids

on September 24th and 25th.

South Bend At The Cubs Game On Sunday, the South Bend team was able to enjoy watching another team in action – the South Bend Cubs! For their ESOP outing the crew from South

Bend spent the afternoon enjoying good food, good times, and great interaction with each other. Wes Kinnison, the ESOP rep for South Bend, did a great job

planning and putting together this great event! Thanks to him and all that came to make this event a successful one!

But all is not as it seems. This movie deals with a dangerous young gal and a team of scientists inability to under-stand that, and it has somewhat of a surprising ending.
